Cranwell Court Apartments

Wonderfully welcoming host. Great location and had some beautiful sunset views from the living room and bedroom. Second bedroom has views of the national library. Was a very comfortable and spacious. Definitely will be returning.

Bedrooms doors were quite heavy to open and the main bedroom toilet macerator was very loud.

The location, the size and cleanliness. It was nice to have a parking space as parking was difficult on the street. Parking was difficult if you needed your car as cars had to be moved and spaces tight.

So many steps up to the apartment. There was 2 apartments on the top 2 floors above the guesthouse.

The apartment was right on the sea front with fabulous views. It was on the top floor of a bed and breakfast but was all self contained. The land lady was friendly and helpful. Very convenient for the sea front, town and railway station. Lovely walks.

We didn’t realise or hadn’t read in the description that there was know hob or oven only a combi microwave. This didn’t bother us as we ate out most of the time but anyone wanting to self cater more may be limited.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment within walking distance of the city centre and sights.

Perfect seafront view from our apartment. Convenient location and great hospitality. Had a fantastic stay and would stay again in a heartbeat.

I would have preferred a hob instead of a microwave, but that’s just up to preference

The seaview was amazing, we were in Apartment 1 and the double bedroom and living room had full height bay windows overlooking the beach and facing west so we could watch the sunsets over the sea in comfort. Lots of period features made it a lovely place to stay. Definitely a place to return to for me. Parking was open air at the rear of the property, but behind a Garage door that was closed every night so very private and secure enough.

Being picky I'd say the ensuites were smaller than I'd like, but very functional and clean, so nothing to worry about.

No faults at all

Loved the location, hearing the sea was lovely. 2 en-suite shower rooms. Plenty of space. Clean. Nicely decorated

We didn’t find the mattresses very comfortable (but are aware that everyone is different!). The kitchen was lovely, and as described, but we found would have found it easier if there was a small oven, as well as the combi microwave, to be able to make a simple meal for us all.
