De Luxe Aparthotel

The location was key. Thankfully, as the room was horrendous!

Maybe if it had been £50pn but at almost £80 if the photos advertising were actually of what we got, we would not have booked. At least it was just one night. We actually tried to get in somewhere else, but it was too late! There was rubbish on the floor and top of wardrobe from guests. No curtains, just vertical blinds-not flush to window, so not keeping out any light. The en suite had a space saver toilet, but you still had to climb over it to get to the shower! Luckily, we had showered before arriving as the towels were old and stained-although rolled and prettily arranged on the bed. There was a rug that we darent step on barefoot as it was so old it was matted and filthy! The lost goes on. THIS IS NOT A DELUXE APPARTMENT! IVE STAYED IN NICER HOSTELS!

It was cold. Not cleaned properly. Damaged items. Heater didn’t work.

Location was good for the train station and for food. In spite of being near a busy road, the room was quiet. Plenty of space in the room.

The owners need to spend some cash on decorating and replacing old, damaged and stained furniture. The bedding was old and tired and very creased. I am in a hotel tonight for the same price and there is no comparison. It just felt neglected. The towels, sink and toilet were clean, the shower contained the previous occupants razor. The pillows are flat and the bed base is stained. I wouldn’t normally give such negative feedback but I was very disappointed.
