Melton Wold Guest Farm

Though the place is 40km outside Victoria West, it is in a nice quiet area and my family enjoyed the pool.

Most things seemed to have been shared for the entire guest house, e.g. TV and coffee appliances. The was also no iron for our clothes. Considering the poor cell phone network in the area because of the remote area, the WiFi experience wasn't so good even with the electricity on. Extra access points for the WiFi are really worth considering. The food wasn't also great for what we paid for per person.

Excellent food and v comfy warm bed Emergence of spring plants, carefully pruned for growing season. Very friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

I had a drink before dinner. A double tot of whisky followed by a single with water came to R95 which equates to about R900 a bottle. This is excessive in the extreme. Hence my toned down appreciation.
