After a week of sailing, we really appreciated the comfort and relaxation at BATU Apartment. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The owners were wonderful and made us feel incredibly welcome. We had a pool right next to our apartment, which was perfect since we could easily keep an eye on the kids from the terrace while they played in the water. The garden was also lovely, filled with vibrant flowers that added to the peaceful atmosphere. It was the ideal way to unwind after our adventure.

There's a small supermarket nearby, but I can imagine that a nice pool bar or bistro would be a great addition to this amazing place. That said, we didn't feel like we were missing anything during our stay. Overall, it was a perfect experience!

-Pools are ‘narrow’ meaning they do not have a lot of space around it (Not the best with (young/toddler) kids). -Our room was quite dark (not a lot of windows). It was right in front of the reception, which was not a problem but for some privacy we had to close the curtains from time to time and without other windows it was therefore quite dark.

Everything, the room, building, garden, staff, pools and how spotlessly clean everything was. The location was lovely, staff so kind and helpful too.

I loved everything

Batu is an absolute hidden gem! The staff go above and beyond in every way and treat you as family. I emailed in advance to see if we could check into our 3 apartments early due to an early flight. The hosts worked incredibly hard and had all 3 apartments ready by the time our arrival! This was unexpected and so kind. It made our arrival so easy and comfortable. The staff are always there to offer a smile and any help or advice you may need. The team at Batu are the best of the best and we left as friends. The staff treated my children to some sweet treats and delicious local pastries which was incredibly thoughtful. The cleanliness is exceptional, the apartments feel luxurious and stylish and everything is functional and made with thought and quality. We adored the 2 pools which were cleverly positioned to allow sun and shade on opposite pools so you could always enjoy swimming whether you love the sun or want to stay shaded in the greek heat. The village was so friendly and beautiful, it had an off the beaten track feel. It felt like a well kept secret for greek holiday makers and a a lucky few international tourists. The beach is a short walk away and the sea is the most comfortable temperature we have experienced in Europe. Perfect swimming temperature which can even be enjoyed at sunset! Mytikas has the most beautiful sunsets you could imagine. There is a lovely bakery and small supermarket within 10 minutes walking. A handful of lovely restaurants are also a very pleasant stroll away. I strongly advise Akrotiri restaurant along the beach. This may well be the best restaurant we have ever been to! Preveza city is incredibly beautiful with narrow winding streets, local artisan shops, a glamorous marina and incredible food. We loved visiting at night when the atmosphere was electric. Batu is the perfect holiday destination! You will not have a better experience and we cannot wait to return!
