Oudewerfskloof Olive Farm

Quiet, beautifully laid out, well fitted out for self catering (though I only used the coffee machine!) and the braai area. I liked the outdoor area next to the shower.

A bit further from town than I thought but not a problem.

The bar fridge was not adequate enough to house all our frozen and cold foods especially not for a few days at that.

The loft has a fabulous stoep with a beautiful view.

Lovely peaceful setting. It was comfortable and had most of the things needed. Very Spacious

Very impersonal Lots of communication electronically but hardly welcoming. Phone was not answered when we phoned on arrival. It seems as though the effort is to contain cost and maximise profit. Message that if you make R500 fine even though we were non smokers. Lighting particularly in the Bathrooms very poor. Hot water flow in Basin almost non existent. Shower was OK. Dirty Coffee cup on the rack. A member of staff approached me in the morning as I was packing the car to say that when i leave I should leave the keys in the unit. That is the only time there was any personal contact. Its a pity because it could be a lovely venue

We had an unforgettable stay at this accommodation! The views were absolutely breathtaking—surrounded by natural beauty that made it feel like a peaceful retreat. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed, providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The property was beautifully decorated with a charming rustic country feel, blending comfort with style. It was spotless, and every detail had been thoughtfully considered. We felt completely at home here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene, comfortable getaway. A truly fantastic experience!

I did not have breakfast at the venue, but will not miss it on my return visit. Next time I will stay longer and enjoy the beautiful tranquille surroundings. I did however get lost on the dirt roads within the estate but wrote it off as an adventure. I loved the natural indigenous landscape and the wine, gin and olive gift selection for sale in the room was enticing and I purchased most of the products. I look forward to trying the new restaurant that recently opened on the premises. I will be planning my next return visit in the new year. Its truly well worth the trip and stay.

I would only make one suggestion and that would be to have a few exit signs with directional arrows at selected cross roads or intersections. The second stair of the wooden stairs leading into Press unit 1, is in need of maintenance. Other than that I can find no fault.

Braai was a great add on to this place. We loved the kitchen, and the fact that we had almost everything we needed! Great communication and friendly service from the staff at the farm

Even though it might be a part of Farm life, the bats directly under our roof was a bit disturbing!
