Casa Vecchia rooms + apartments

Stayed here for 2 nights during a tour of North Corsica. Unfortunately it was the worst place we stayed. Pros: car parking, walking distance to supermarket, beach and centre of Calvi, has a kitchenette. Cons: Very tired and needs renovating - our apartment looked nothing like the photos. The whole place generally seemed poorly maintained and unloved. Microwave wouldn't heat up food, so used the hob all the time. No shower gel and shower door clearly broken a while ago and only repaired with a curtain. Mosquitos everywhere - no matter how hard we tried they always got into the apartment. Reception is supposed to be open till 7pm, and we arrived as we had pre-agreed at 6.30pm, to find reception closed - had been sent a text with key safe instructions but struggled to find the apartment building. Bedroom felt a bit like a prison in a white box. No real space in the kitchenette to prepare food, no bread knife. Not what you would expect for £110 a night

Great location in Calvi, really close to the beach and to the Citadel. Also next to a supermarket which was helpful for buying food. It was nice to be able to self-cater and we used the kitchenette. There was a swimming pool onsite.

Unfortunately we were disappointed by the appearance of the apartment - it didn't look like the photos online and was quite tired. We couldn't get the microwave to heat up food. There was no shower gel provided. The shower door was broken and had been repaired with a curtain. There were a lot of mosquitos. It was very expensive for what it was.

Perfect location within short walk of beach and town. Supermarket round the corner. Nice pool with sunbeds. Plenty of free parking spaces. Comfortable bed. Large terrace on first floor apartments.

Facilities in the apartment rather basic. Not really room to cook if you wanted to. All a bit tired. Quite expensive for what you get but Calvi is very expensive.

The owner aranged the taxi which was suppose to be 60 EUR and ended up demanding 96 EUR Very bad situation

nice quiet location near the beach, romantic garden.

the whole place needs serious refurbishment. the rooms feel heavily used with amenities that are outdated. very expensive for off season and the service/amenities provided.

Great location only a few minutes walk away from the beach, town centre, and supermarket. The swimming pool was great, and the flat was well equipped. Also the staff was very accommodating with our early check-in and early check-out, and were regularly onsite to help if needed.

This place seems very popular with mosquitoes!Even with plug-in repellent, and spraying ourself with repellent spray we were absolutely butchered!!! The living room only offers a small and uncomfortable sofa bed to relax on in the evening. There was only a table and chairs on the terrace outside, which weren’t very comfortable either.

Large parking to leave the car and very close to a shop and lovely beach. Staff was very friendly and helping.

Wifi was poor - sometimes working and sometimes not working.

Casa Vecchia offers rooms with and without a kitchen. We had a room without kitchen which was small. The rooms with kitchen looked more spacious from outside. You always have a balcony or a terrace. The hotel has also a heated pool which was clean and a car park. They do not offer breakfast.
