Coron Backpacker Guesthouse

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were very clean. Well equipped kitchen available for use and free water. Very central location.

The guesthouse is located on top of a swamp and the walk to it is far from pleasant. The mosquitoes and smell were almost unbearable.

the location is good, in the city centre. there is a kitchen and the common area is comfortable

the place itself is nice, however it is full of mosquitos and the smell is terrible. the hostel is built on a sewer. it is good if you need to sleep one night, max 2 nights and good value for money

Literally we entered the room and left right after. I’m sorry to say this because we experienced a lot of hostels around Philippines and always got very nice stays but as soon as we entered our room there was no light and when we managed to turn it on we found a huge mosquito nest, they were literally everywhere and it was impossible to get them out because no window.

Very nice, clean and friendly place to stay. The staff and family are very helpful, always cleaning, working very hard to keep the place nice and tidy. They're very accomodating, flexible, lovely people. Everything works. Very quiet at night, confortable beds. One of those place where you are pleasantly surprised. Will definitely go again. Thank you for your hard work and your welcome

Entrance to the property goes through an alleyway that stinks (as it’s the sewage of all the houses around), they only have cold shower there (which isn’t the biggest problem when it’s super hot, but it would be nice to be able to control the temperature and avoid getting a cold, the place had so many mosquitos that you could tie them down and use for kitesurfing, and one of the bathrooms was so small I could barely fit, also almost hurt my foot stepping on a splinter there.
