I did not realize that sheets and towels cost an extra (?!) and the breakfast was very overpriced for something very minimal. The owner does not speak English and was difficult to communicate with via Whatsap. We were there during the Low-season and the place was nearly empty but they still gave us a suite with a mediocre view.

Fabulous location with view of the Adriatic. Lovely breakfast served on the terrace. Roomy, comfy apartment with lots of privacy. Washing machine and detergent were available for use -very convenient. Mattinatella beach was a 5-10 minute drive away and in early October we had it all to ourselves. The water temperature was lovely - not exactly warm, but pleasant enough to go in four times for about 15 minutes each. Lovely hosts Michele and Anna made us feel very welcome. An exquisitely laid out property. Quiet. It was a great location from which to do day trips to Vieste and Monte Sant’Angelo.

The construction and interior of the apartment is quite modern, but like many places in Italy there is no ventilation in the bathroom, so when we arrived there was a musty smell, but this dispersed after leaving the doors open for awhile. We stayed four days.

The host Michele arranged to meet us on the main road to the property as it may have been difficult to find and our flight was delayed so it was after midnight when he kindly came out and guided us to his property. The apartments are in a lovely setting and the layout is beautiful so you don't feel overlooked. The pool is large, clean and has many comfortable sunbeds, parasols and seating areas. The breakfast is €12 per person per day with a selection of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, bread and conserves, tea or coffee and orange juice all beautifully served and very fresh. The grounds are well maintained and exceptionally clean with many comfortable seating areas with stunning views of the mountains and the sea. There were mesh blinds on the windows which were very welcome because the mosquitos were prevalent and particularly liked the taste of our blood - unfortunately this caused us problems sitting out on the balcony but we purchased various anti-mosquito candles etc and would advise other guests to bring them too. The balcony was spacious and well set up with table, chairs and a two seater bench - we had a view of the sea which was beautiful at nightime with the moon rising over it. There was also a clothes drying rack, brush, mop, wash up liquid and drying cloths provided. As cat lovers we were very happy to see there are cats around which we loved they are timid so if you don't like cats they won't come near you however we were glad to see them and bought some cat kibble which hey appreciated - hopefully other cat loving guests will keep up the feeding!.

The only thing we felt was missing was that the kitchen didn't have a microwave nor a toaster or kettle. We liked to stay at the pool for the day and have lunch in our apartment but with only a stove top it meant we were a bit restricted eating in.

We have just departed from "Montelci Residence" after staying there for an incredible 9 days. The place offers 12 apartments, immaculately clean and comfortable. It is located in the midst of an endless olive grove, overlooking the Adriatic sea. Truly heaven. The swimming pool is just wonderful - clean and never too crowded. Michele's unique touch could be felt all around the residence. Nikola is the ultimate host- he speaks English, French, and German, and he is keen on helping and giving superb local recommendations. A wonderful place, we found it even better than on the pictures. We had a three-bedroom appartment, quiet, extremely clean and great view on the Adriatic. Very pleasant host and amazing pool. The region is beautiful, we liked most the Vignanotica beach.
