Apartments Madeira City Center

Great location. Great for hiking outdoor families. Near to City Center. Tricky to park if you have a car. I would recommend if you re staying for the outdoors.

Sarah, the host, was very welcoming, friendly and pleasant to talk with and she has a lot of great recommendations. The location of the apartment is also very central, it has easy access to the city center, a very good shopping center where you can buy groceries and many good restaurants within walking distance. I didn’t have any issues finding a parking in the street where the apartment is during my stay, which is free.

The localization was excellent! The stuff very helpful and kind - we could check out later on request.The beds pretty comfortable.

There was a slightly moldy smell. The couch was not usable anymore. We've found two cockrouches-like creatures in the toilet.

Very nice great location lovely and very helpful staff.

Only issues for us was the sofa is uncomfortable and some of the electric sockets need fixing in place

Good location, although the front door opens up to a busy road and there's no sidewalk on this particular street. Be careful when arriving and leaving! We rented a car and had no problem finding parking spots near the apartment. The hosts provided extra towels and gave us an extensive list of places to eat and visit during our trip. There's a laundry room in the basement of the building (laundry detergent included!) which was nice during a 2-week trip. The apartment was clean, and the bedroom was larger than I expected. The bathroom, kitchen, and living area are quite small. It was fine for me when I was there alone, but after a few days, it felt a little small for 2 people. If you're solo traveling, it's perfect. Overall, a good experience. Madeira and its people are lovely!

Leaving during rush hour (morning and evening) made me nervous at times because cars would come out of nowhere, speeding down the street. It felt a bit dangerous. There was a little enclosed balcony, which was nice during the day when I was working. There's not much lighting at night, so we didn't spend much time out there. The space It doesn't get direct sunlight (something to keep in mind if you're looking for a big, sunny outdoor space). It was fine for us.

Great appartement with everything you could have need on a week's stay. Fully equipped kitchen, even a private terrace. Location was perfectly located in between old town and city center. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and even let me check out late. Would Def book again when I come back to Madeira.

Very loud neighbors so bring earplugs.
