Villa Mary Elen

The Property is a short 10 min walk to the restaurants. Not as busy as the main area which is super nice! An easy escape with a private rock pool right in front of the house filled with lots of fish. The staff were so nice too! We loved this spot and will definitely return.

Pollonia was a cute town. The bathroom was clean. The balcony was nice to have.

The bed was hard and creaky. Our checkin experience was a little odd; tv blaring from reception but there was no answer when we arrived mid day despite several pour knocks and repeatedly calling hello. This was unusual but not of great concern. We initially attributed this to it being a somewhat quirky budget accommodation. It was at the end of our stay when we had an experience unlike any other place be ever encountered. We were napping at 3:00 in the afternoon when the aforementioned quirky hostess barged in to our room. My husband had to leap to the door to tell her she could not enter. There was only about a five second delay between her knock and her entry. The kicker is that she ARGUED with my husband and insisted that she be able to come in to make a furniture delivery. He actually had to fend her off at the door. We complained to the owner and later heard them arguing loudly in the hallway presumable about our issue. There are two things we realized were not present in the room. There is no “do not disturb” sign provided. This is a privacy concern. Secondly, there is no chain latch or secondary lock to prevent staff from entering. This is not only a privacy concern but a real safety issue.

Villa Mary Elen is a great place to stay, near the beaches but in a lovely quiet location with outstanding views! We had a lovely few days here!

The cleaning staff was very friendly! The owner of the hotel greeted me the second day I was there. Very friendly atmosphere and stunning views! Great location on the water within walking distance of Pollonia Beach/Pollonia city center

Not the properties fault but there’s a building site next door however it doesn’t spoil the sea views as is in the inland direction

Very clean, lots of space, at the end of a road so very little traffic, incredible views of Pollonia
