Armeno Resort

The resort is located right on a beautiful sandy beach, offering easy access to the sea and stunning sunsets. The resort features a swimming pool, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

A pearl on the map of Corfu, this quiet and peaceful valley, situated away from tourist towns and nestled among hills, is home to several hotels, guesthouses, and rental properties. It features a stunning sandy beach with crystal-clear water, devoid of algae, jellyfish, and sea urchins. The hotel itself is divided into two buildings, one directly by the pool and beach, and the other a bit higher up. My son and I stayed in the poolside building in a room with a central sea view. The pool is large, clean, and deep enough for diving. There are comfortable sun loungers and even more comfortable sunbeds, which are free of charge both by the pool and on the beach, provided you spend a certain amount at the bar (in our case, it was 25 euros per day for two people). The food is very good, with the menu split between those served by the pool and a separate one in the restaurant. However, there's a catch. While sitting by the pool, you cannot order from the restaurant menu, and vice versa (officially, you cannot order dishes from the pool menu while in the restaurant). This became an issue when I went to the restaurant with my son; I wanted octopus (which was on the menu) and he doesn’t eat it and wanted chicken strips from the pool menu. Fortunately, the staff was flexible enough that after explaining the situation—that we came together, not to eat meals separately (5 meters apart—me at a table and him on a lounger, which would be nonsensical)—we managed to order both dishes to the same table. I have a simple solution to this problem: allow both menus to be officially used in the restaurant, and only one at the pool. The food itself is very good and reasonably priced, fitting the portion sizes and quality. Our room was flawless; we had a perfect week's rest. The beds are comfortable (though this is subjective). Overall, I would rate the hotel at 9.5/10, but since there is no such rating on Booking.com, I’ll round it up to 10 points.

I stayed in, which had a terrace overlooking the pool and the sea. In the picture, the balcony you see centrally on the first floor to the left is the one. The one on the right is the terrace of the hotel building right next to it (it's worth going through the beach bar to the garden in the middle). Generaly, nothing.

Classy, chilled vibes. The rooms are decorated to a high standard, very modern with a natural twist. The pool is stunning and the beach is literally next to it where you can use the hotels sun beds for free. The staff are genuine and very welcoming. Having visited Corfu countless times I’ve never been to Marathias, finding Armeno on Booking.com unlocked a gorgeous new find in both the hotel and the location.

Nothing negative to say

Just everything. Service, hospitality, location was excellent, just a step from one of the best beaches in Corfu. The team at Armeno Resort is lovely, I just didn't want to leave. I highly recommend to eat at the restaurant!

The pool area and restaurant was very nice. The staff was also very friendly, especially the nice lady in the lobby. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The breakfast could have a better selection. They also only switch out your towels every 3 days which we found a bit too long and the hotel is located kind of in the middle of nowhere so I would recommend having a car!

The overall place is nice.

Quite alot of mold in the bathroom, because of no windows. But maybe it was just the room we had.
