Midtown Hotel Rotterdam

The host was fantastic - friendly and very helpful with any questions we had, and was responsive to our needs. She sent us all kinds of tourist information ahead of our arrival which was useful as it was our first time in Rotterdam. We arrived late in the evening due to flight delays and because trains were no longer running, the host arranged for a taxi which was very helpful given that we were travelling from Amsterdam.

The room we stayed in had no natural light nor ability to get fresh air into the room (although most hotels these days don't have windows that open). The room is inside a building so the windows look into a hallway, so for privacy one needs to keep the blinds closed which made the room a dark. The hallway is only used by other room guests so thankfully there isn't much passing people traffic. If you're planning to stay in the room during your stay, this is not the best place in my opinion - it prefer much lighter and brighter rooms - but if you're out all day and mainly sleep there, it's got everything you could possibly need!

All the facilities were great!

It just needed a microwave and perhaps another roll of toilet paper.
