The Jomvacay Place

Location was great. Plenty of food options nearby and not too far from Kuantan city. The view from the apartment's balcony is quite nice. You can sit there in the evening and enjoy the view with the evening breeze. The apartment was also well equipped although some slippers to go down to beach or bedroom would be nice

Weekend is probably not the best time to stay there. It can be rather noisy and the corridors are not carpeted and the apartment's main door are not well insulated to sound. I woke up to screams of excited children rushing to go down to the pool / beach. The pool was over-run by kids and the floor in common areas were wet due to the pool users. Outside of the weekend, I can imagine the place to be quiet and possibly, romantic. The sofa in my apartment was a bit dusty and one of the ceiling lights was flickering. The host only message me with check-in instructions late in the night before I was due to be there and because I was traveling between places, I didnt see the message till I arrived only to be turned away by the guards. This is in spite the fact that I booked the place a week earlier and had messaged the host for instructions. This experience is quite different from another apartment that I stayed at earlier where the host was very engaging and got in touch with me shortly after my reservation and again with more details closer to the check-in date.

Nice, well-maintained holiday resort. Easy walk to the beach. The owner provides good check-in instructions. A lot of restaurants on the other side of the road.

The sleeping couch is quite hard and not really suitable for 2 teenagers. Curtains in the bedroom would also be nice.
