Parking and location

We discovered upon arrival they were carrying out minor renovations and we were the only guests along with our friends staying that weekend. The staff member we dealt with said didn't anyone inform you,... No !!! The entrance hall was covered in dust, the room was was basic and looked like it had been assembled from a charity shop, the bed had odd pillows, one super soft and one hard as rock which couldn't be used ! The place has the feel of a Youth Hostel and should be priced accordingly !!

Location, staff helpful, clean.

Too much noise from someone walking on the top floor at 3 a.m. It seemed like it was done on purpose. There was also a very strong smell of food taking over the place as soon as we arrived. The décor and furniture were antique, which was fine, but they looked very old and worn out. There was also a lack of facilities that would be helpful for women, such as a magnifying mirror for makeup and at least a hair dryer.

Good location, good compensation for lack of breakfast in the morning

Very central. Free parking. Clean. Bathroom nice. Bed comfortable.

Not a 4*. Breakfast needs to be upgraded. Some things need to be refurbished or redone.

Very convenient, central position. Lovely comfortable bedroom and spacious bathroom.

Noisy on arrival in afternoon due to construction work happening in the front room. (We went out to avoid it!) “Self service breakfast” is in need of some improvement! Eg nowhere to sit until others had left; no visible instructions for coffee/juice machines, (fortunately helped by another guest!); dirty dishes piled high in the sink in the centre of the room…. Disappointing end to an otherwise lovely stay!
