Cong Man Homestay Cham Island

AMAZING

I liked everything: the room, the hosts, the bbq they cook every evening (a variety of seafood, it was very tasty). And nearby is a private beach with amazing views and the beauty of the underwater world.

Big and comfy beds. Super helpful hosts. Great home cooked food. They helped us with medicine when our daughter got sick.

Very Nice location and lovly family. Tje bbq on the beach was very jummy. All very ni e. The room simple but very good matras and had à good sleep I one week.

Everything! The location is incredible and is a two minute walk from the nearest beach. An absolutely lovely family who are very accommodating and even got a scooter delivered to us for rental. They also hosted a fantastic bbq from the fresh seafood caught locally on the beachfront.

What a wonderful end to my Vietnam holiday. I highly recommend staying with the Cong Man family. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a nice stay. They put up with me asking a million questions before I arrived, made me delicious vegetarian food and even took me to see the north side of the island. The village is so peaceful. Definitely do the basket boat around the cove to go snorkeling. It was exactly what I needed after several days in Hoi An. I feel refreshed.

Bed super comfortable, good sized room with en-suite. lovely shared terrace to sit out and read. Quiet pretty location behind a temple. With good air con. Had a very romantic bbq seafood supper by the sea, set up by Mr Cong. recommend and return.

Mr and Mrs Cong don’t speak much English and we didn’t establish any prices for fishing, seafood supper etc until we paid the bill. Would advise establishing a price before so you are aware of the costs.

Amazing family, very friendly. They came and picked us up from the ferry port and dropped us off. Location is lovely, away from the main town and very peaceful. Bed was super comfy, breakfast was lovely too (happy to cook for vegetarians).

I very much enjoyed Mrs Man's spirit - a very happy person and ready to help their guests. She cooked dinner for us in the evening. The island does not have great quality of the infrastructures, so the homestay was good if compared to the average. They offered us take-away breakfast (egg banh mi) which was very convenient. Mrs Man and Mr Cong communicated with the boat on a day in which the wind was strong for our return, to assure we would get back to Hoi An. Without their help, we would have missed it because the boat company changed the departure time last minute.

There was a misunderstanding with Mr Cong at our pickup because it was not clear that we had to rent a motorbike to get to the homestay (which costs 200kVnD per day) - or that we should take a moto-taxi for 60kVnD per person. But he picked up our two trolley bags in his motorbike for free. The communication was a bit difficult because we had to use google translate almost all the time. Bookingdotcom's translation is also inconsistent. However, on the island very few people speak English so this is ok. As a suggestion, they could offer a mop to wipe the water from the toilet (as every time it is used the floor gets flooded).
