Location with close proximity to the beach was good. The hotel was clean.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while it had some positives—like being clean and conveniently located near the beach—there were several frustrating issues that made my experience less enjoyable. The biggest problem was the **terrible Wi-Fi**—it was practically unusable, which was a major inconvenience. Additionally, the hotel **lacked activities or entertainment**, making it feel boring, especially for families. The **staff behavior was the most off-putting part** of my stay. They were strangely strict over minor things—like not allowing guests to use the garden hose to rinse sand off their feet (which is basic beach etiquette!). Even worse, they scolded us for making **minimal noise** while playing a simple child's game in the bar area. It felt unnecessarily hostile and made the environment **unwelcoming for families with kids**. Overall, if you’re looking for a quiet, no-frills place just to sleep near the beach, this might work. But if you want good service, reliable Wi-Fi, or a family-friendly atmosphere, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Struttura con ottima vista su mare, immersa nel verde del giardino curato. Spazio molto rilassante. Staff gentile e disponibile. La camera è accogliente, dotata di aria condizionata e balconcino in cui rilassarsi.

La posizione è a ridosso del mare ma in una posizione che - non per colpa della struttura - risulta defilata dalle principali attività e a ridosso di un tratto di spiaggia non curatissima e con strade dismesse. Non si può dire che la struttura sia sporca, anzi è sicuramente pulita e curata, ma ho trovato un uovo nel mio frigorifero all'arrivo e la tenda della doccia potrebbe essere cambiata, risulta ingiallita dal tempo e dall'usura.

I liked it very much. Good food. Nice staff. Clean, cozy and comfortable chill Music in garden/restaurant. I recommend it to young and older adults.

As a solo traveler it can be a bit lonely. A little drawback that you can not enjoy your own morning coffee in the front garden. Especially since there is not much going on. Afandou Beach is good but needs to be cleaned up, lots of plastic and trash. But very ok Beach nevertheless.

Al Mare apartments are a quiet paradise directly on the beach. During our first stay, we fell in love with the place and its people and became regulars, coming back every year. The apartments are comfortable, quiet, with balconies that offer lovely seaview over a immaculate garden full of flower and trees.

We spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful place — the vacation was simply amazing! Everything was absolutely perfect — cozy accommodation, very clean and comfortable rooms, a lovely and well-maintained area, and warm, welcoming hosts — a wonderful Greek family. There’s a bar with delicious cocktails by Mr. George, tasty fresh food, and the location is ideal. The sea is just a few steps away, with warm and crystal-clear water. We’ll definitely come back with friends. Huge thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

A perfect location to explore the island. A small peace of heaven by the sea side Sea view, shade in the afternoon on the balcony, a bar with food downstairs. They clean every two days and give you fresh towels. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. We all loved it.

Quiet location, right in front of the long Afantou beachfront. Very convenient to get around by car up or down the island. Regular cleaning of the apartment. Helpful staff. The garden can be used only when consuming at the cafe. I wish there was space also for the residents (besides the table next to the parking)

The balconies are very close to each other. Since we were in the corner flat, it meant pretty much sitting face to face with the neighbors, so unfortunately we didn't like using the balcony which for us was a big reason to book the property.

Excellent location by the sea with clear water and long beach for wolk, well-equipped rooms with balcony, every room have amazing sea view with sunrise, very clean was everything, every second day cleaning lady changed bed sheet and towels, the owners was exceptionally friendly and kind, you can get excellent food at the restaurant, bar or at big yard, higly recommend
