Al Mare Apartments

The Al Mare apartments are in a very calm part of Rhodes, one of the few real beachfront properties on Afandou beach. There is a snack bar in the garden, but with very calm and relaxing music (nothing like your usual noisy beach bars). We really enjoyed sitting on our balcony, looking at the sea and mountains and just relaxing. The staff is friendly, helpful and simply wonderfull. While the interior might be slightly dated for some pickier guests, it is perfectly clean and 100% functional. And the beach is simply amazing!!!

Al Mare apartments exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a quiet place near to the sea, away from busy hotels and full beaches. In Al Mare, we found a clean, comfortable accomodation with helpful, friendly hosts, great sea and garden view and most important of all - the quiet that we so desperately needed after a busy year.

Location was right beside the beach with a few sunbeds and umbrellas, although for public use too. Quite as at the end of the main road along the front. George, the propreitor, was very friendly and attentive.

Nothing - would return again.

A beautiful place to spend a peaceful vacation. Clean, spacious apartment with a nice terrace. the owner and his family are very kind and helpful. Directly across from the beach with umbrellas and sunbeds. A beautiful, almost romantic garden. W e will definitely go back there.
