Inturotel Cala Azul

We have been to Esmeralda Park before and chose Cala Azul this time, as we love the location on the rocks. The staff and the breakfast were just as excellent. Rooms were smaller but always clean and beds were comfy. We appreciated that the lifeguard actively removed towels from sunbeds when they were not in use.

Unfortunately, our stay was less comfortable than expected. The first room was quite noisy due to ventilation systems above and nearby kitchen extraction. The staff was very helpful and arranged a room change after a few days. The new room was better, but still not quiet. We also noticed quite some debris and plastic waste in the cala; we collected some larger pieces ourselves, but regular cleaning—such as using a net—would improve the area, Even if it is publicly accessible, the Cala is mainly used by hotel guests. Finally, we felt the 6:00 PM pool closing time was a bit early, as the sun was still warm and the pool would have been enjoyable for the kids after day trips.
