Inturotel Cala Azul

Breakfast and dinner were decent, not great variety but not too bad either.

Not value for money.The rooms were very tired, tiles were chipped, old facilities. The room was more than 200 euros per night, but it didn't even have shampoo or body wash.The only toiletrie provided was a cheap low quality hand wash.We had to purchase a shampoo. Hair dryer not appropriate to even dry your hands. Room not really clean, fridge was dirty. The blanket was smelling as not cleaned for a while, its smell was so overwhelming that I would rather feel cold at night than use it. Mattresses very firm and not comfortable. Room located in the third floor of building C, but not elevator. Cleaning service not great, we had to call the second night to ask for towels, as they took the old ones but didn't replace them all. Staff not very helpful, rather indifferent and seemed bored. Towels for the pool had to be purchased, so make sure you bring your own. Dinner closes at 9 pm, which is very strange and unusual for a Spanish island.Most hotels offer dinner until 10 pm. Also, although i appreciate in hardboard no drinks (soft, water) were included, but also we were not allowed to have our own bottle of water in the table. The beach in front of the hotel was rather dirty, a small stream of dirty and smelly water was running from the hotel straight to the sea where people were swimming. Second day the sea was full of plastic and rubbish. Definitely wouldn't stay again there, not worth the money, and of course wouldn't recommend it.

We loved the beach area and rock formations! We also enjoyed being a 25-30 minute drive from different cala’s. Also loved that there was a grocery store on the location and loved having a kitchen area in the suite!

Parking was ok but can be hard to find a spot! Also, the walls are very thin so you can hear young kids and babies very early in the morning. Also didn’t like that the safe was €4/day to use in the room (we haven’t experienced that yet in europe) and you had to pay to play the mini golf also located on the resort.

We had a wonderful stay at Inturotel Cala Azul with our 14-month-old baby. The newly renovated and fully furnished apartment was modern, clean, spacious, and very comfortable for a family stay. Having a kitchen and separate living area made traveling with a toddler much easier. The location in Cala d’Or is perfect for families. Beautiful small beaches are within walking distance, especially Cala Esmeralda with its calm and crystal-clear water, ideal for young children. The whole area feels safe, quiet, and family-oriented. The resort has great pools, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff. Everything is convenient with supermarkets, restaurants, and the marina nearby. We especially appreciated how stroller-friendly the area is. Overall, an excellent choice for families with small children looking for a relaxing holiday in Mallorca. We would definitely come back.
