The service provided was not nice ( basically we were explained what we HAVE to do and our obligations were endless, compared with what we had available). Poor facilities in the residence: no mobile coverage in the building, wifi only at the reception which was open 4 hours per day, but I needed wifi to work. The espresso coffee machine is at the reception so you can use it only within the 4 hours when the reception is open. I was very disappointed to clean twice: at the check-in and at the check-out, even though I have paid for the cleaning included in my booking.com reservation. We were not informed that we have to pay 250 deposit at check-in, then I could not pay the hotel and the manager Sabrina refused to give us the key until we pay, we tried with 4 bank cards and strangely all were refused except the last one, by some reason. The manager who tried to serve us did not speak English very well and finally, she explained in a very complex way how to get to our room in FRENCH, however, we do not speak as we are not obliged to speak french! The heating did not work in the kid´s room, but the reception was closed and we had no support at night. The experience was very unpleasant and happened for the 1st time in my life since I´m traveling a lot all over the world for 20 years. We didn´t feel welcome and with care for as customers. Some of the staff were really nice though. But in general, will not recommend it and will never come back here again!

We were there in March for skiing. The room was clean and staff were all nice. The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk (down) to the village and nearly 10 minutes walk back (up) to the hotel. Going to Tele-cabin station is the same. We enjoyed the walk in the morning from the hotel to get Tele-cabin but a little tired to go back to hotel after skiing all day. We left our ski equipments at a shop where we hire them (right next to the Tele-Cabin station), so we didn't have to take them all up and down. If we didn't, it could have been a nightmare. Anyway, we will definitely go back to the same hotel next year as we liked there so much!

Located off the main road in Front Romeu. Apartment was a good size and the layout met our group requirements perfectly, 4 adults and 2 children. Reception staff very helpful for organising ski passes and general information. Unfortunately did not have time to use the swimming pool but will look to return another time.

Although probably roughly value for money for the area, I wasn’t expecting to have to clean the place myself after our stay. The bed is too short (I’m 6’ 2”, 1.88m), so not excessively tall, and there’s very little room in the bedroom. The apartment we’re in sleeps 8, but there is only one small wardrobe in one of the 3 bedrooms. There is also very little space to hang anything, which, when skiing, becomes a logistical nightmare. We’re a family of 5 staying in the 8 bed apartment and are struggling. If it was 2 families it would be difficult at best. The fridge buzzed all hours. We had to do our own inventory (counting knives and plates after a long journey with 3 kids isn’t ideal). It is in quite a good location, although the shorter walk to the town can be quite treacherous down steep paths and steps in the ice. It feels like it’s not quite finished; bare concrete walls and floors give it a prison-like feeling.

The reception service was fine, a bit of a queue to check out. The room was clean and well equipped wth nice views from the balcony. Because the location is slightly above the village, it felt quite nicely isolated. When we were there, the steep path down to the town centre and ski lift was very icy. The 'stones throw' from the lift description is not accurate, it is only a 10 minute walk, but it would have been too far to carry our ski equipment. There is a ski rental shop right next to the ski lift, it isn't the cheapest, but you can get a discount there if you stay at this hotel. There are also lockers for hire at the top of the lift. Overall, it's a pleasant ski resort best for beginners and families, but with enough black runs to keep advanced skiers happy for a few days. There are more resorts within easy driving distance.
