Serene Villa Hiriketiya

Great Vaue the staff are fantastic and really friendly, we loved our time here. Its an ideal iocation fot both dikwella and Hiriketiya beaach

Perfect location, few mins from beach, although it is up a steep hill if you have any mobility issues but it’s so easy to get a Tuktuk so this isn’t an issue. Lovely shaded pool if you wanted to get out of the sun. Breakfast was decent. Staff were so lovely, really enjoyed the welcome drink and they can organise transfers if you need picking up from previous hotel or taking somewhere on your onward journey. We had a crazy storm whilst we were there and the staff made sure to check in if everything was ok

The building is still under construction so this might change but there are gaps in the doors/windows so ants get in and it lets the heat in so it isn’t very energy efficient

Serene Villa is a small oasis of calm, just off the slighly busy street of Hiriketiya; the apartment room gazed out on a vista of jungle with monkeys happily scampering between palm trees. Breakfast was a wonderful mix of international and Sri Lankan cuisine and the staff were extremely helpful, throughout our stay. Having Yoga on site was also very convenient, at a decent price.

Overall it was great; just a small shame that speciality coffees (e.g. latte) and yoga were not included in the price. However that seems to be expected in Shri Lanka

The room was spacious. Lovely view of the jungle. Great location between Hiriketiya beach and Dickwella Beach.

There was a bit of noise from surrounding businesses at night but not much they can do about that. We couldn't leave the doors open because of the monkeys outside so screen doors would be great.

A nice place to stay, well located. The staff were available and helpful whenever needed.

Lovely hotel in a great location (a 3 minute walk to the beach) with spacious rooms and sweet, friendly and attentive staff. They also provide yoga sessions!

Breakfast was delicious, but the area felt cramped/crowded and not quite organized.
