Villa Làrio Lake Como

Such a beautiful place

Villa Lario is a fabulous hotel. We loved its location (outside of Como), the second room we stayed in was fabulous. The restaurant was quite slow but meals were beautifully presented and delicious. Maybe a few egg cups should be purchased for our morning eggs? Service was exemplary.

In the beginning we were situated in the Garden Room. This room, which is separate from the rest of the hotel, has a contemporary design on two floors - which is a bit of a wow factor. However, it was very difficult to use - the vanity area has no room for our personal toiletries, the wardrobe is small and it is downstairs making it awkward to change. It has a vaulted glass roof which lets in a lot of light in the morning. However, what we really didn't like was that the room was freezing upon arrival and the electricity didn't work on our first morning, resulting in us having to change rooms at 7:30am - which is not ideal when you are on holiday. We moved into another room in the Pavilion, which was of a more traditional design but far more practical.

Villa Lario is a stylish boutique hotel and every little detail is thought of to ensure a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Exquisite location. We simply didn’t want to leave. Beautiful gardens and very stylish interiors. Very professional staff who very helpful. Breakfast was included with lovely selection of bread and pastries.

Absolutely loved everything about the hotel.

Everything was exceptional. The suite views, the hotel design, the lobby & seating area, the staff are very friendly and they upgrade us into a very nice suite upon our arrival! the service is outstanding, the breakfast was exceptional, I also had the best tiramisu during my entire trip at the hotel restaurant. Definitely recommended to anyone visiting Como!
