Posidonia Residence

The view from the apartment is absolutely stunning! Make sure to book a room with sea-view (including view of Mount Vesuvio!) and you will forget the last steep 80 meters walk up the hill! You will find the nicest hosts in Francesco and Natalie, helpful with everything at all times. They really make you feel welcome. Contact via WhatsApp was very easy and quick.

The bathroom could use an update, it’s a large room but with a small and outdated shower und equipment.

The appartment is spacious, with a wonderful view on Ischia Porto and Aragon Castle - great for a breakfast on the balcony in May. The kitchen was very well equipped. Everything was very clean. The host Natalia was very nice and helpful - she was always reachable per WhatsApp.

The appartment was cold when we arrived (end of April) and the first night was pretty cold too. However there are two air conditionings to heat/cool the appartment.

I 100% recommend this stay for an Ischia trip. It’s located near the city center, the room was very clean, all facilities included and exceptionally good staff, especially Giuseppe. He was very friendly, helped out a lot with guides and recommendations including places to eat and visit. Moreover, we got a room upgrade which had a beautiful view of the island and sea. We will definitely come back!

The access road was a bit steep but it’s good exercise to help burn off all that pasta and pizza ☺️

Close to town, 5 minute walk up a steep hill Staff were super friendly, they helped with our luggage and even washed our clothes. Pretty nice view from the rooftop area, though there is no shade so you can’t really sit out there.

The reception and room smelled of mould and mildew. The shower clogs with water so you can’t really shower after another person otherwise your standing in dirty water. The rooms are dark and the furniture is old and dirty. Disappointed as the ratings for this place are very high.

The view from the balcony was great - could see the ocean, mount vesuvius, and the Castello Aragonese. Located just a short walk to the port with excellent transportation links. Staff were super accommodating and went above and beyond for us.

The apartment is in a great spot very close to Ischia Porto centre (although see below) and the views were amazing from our balcony. Our room was very well presented with plenty of space and good facilities. We loved our stay in Ischia at the residence and would definitely return when next visiting the island. That said, the real highlight for us was meeting Francesco and Guiseppe, who manage the apartments. They are lovely guys, nice to chat to and very helpful with anything relating to the apartment, getting around Ischia or visiting Naples, etc. They also communicated well with us prior to our holiday to make sure everything was organised and ready for our arrival. Thank you both for a great stay!

The apartment is located at the top of a very steep hill about 100m long. It wasn't a particular issue for us but it isn't to be recommended for people with restricted mobility (note that Francesco is great at helping with luggage up and down the slope on his scooter!).

Posidonia Residence was for us the best choice of accommodation on the island of Ischia. We had an apartment on the 2nd floor with a wonderful view of the city, Naples, the island of Procidia. An absolutely fantastic sunrise seen from the balcony. Francesco and Giuseppe are absolutely wonderful hosts, responsive to any request, with directions related to tourist attractions and places to eat. Large, spacious, clean apartment with all the amenities related to the Kitchen. A spacious bathroom with everything you need. So a 10+ grade for stat in Ischia! A place and people that we warmly recommend! Everything was very good, although it's a slope to the property Francesco or Giuseppe offered to come and take the luggage. But precisely because it is higher, the apartment had a spectacular view of the sea! There is a supermarket in the area with everything you need, it is interesting that you can pay and then you can say that you are staying at Posidonua Residence and the shopping is brought to your room.

🇺🇸🎉🥰💗 EVERYTHING!!! But mainly the staff here is truly amazing and so incredibly helpful. They were so communicative and took the time to answer every question we had and give us tons of recommendations, show us how to work the bus, and so much more! We went to go ask where a laundromat was and they told us not to worry and washed and hung our clothes up to dry for us!! Truly, the staff here made the stay incredible. We will definitely be back!! Also the rooms are huge!!
