The apartment was very clean and bright.

The only thing I would say is “there was no toaster “ everything else was spot on.

"Only the location is good - stay away"

The apartment was okay, the pictures for the specific apartment are correct, but mix up of several apartments from different buildings on the same page make it misleading, we were expecting some outdoor place for example. Location right next to the arena was great and the apartment was also clean, only these two points were really positive, hence the 2 out 10 review.

The booking.com page clearly states "guests are required to show a photo identification", but the girl at check-in forced us to have our national ID cards copied and menaced us with not giving the apartment, although the matter had already been clarified via WhatsApp. This is a clear breach of our rights, specifically "EU General Data Protection Regulations", the Italian law "Articolo 109 Testo Unico Leggi Pubblica Sicurezza" requiring hotels and other touristic lodging sending guests details to the police within 24 hours after check-in does not even mention copy or scanning of national ID Cards or Passports. We have travelled in Italy before, stayed at least in 6 hotels/apartments in past year and our national ID cards have never been copied. The copy of such documents is strongly discouraged by governmental and public authorities to prevent identity theft and fraud. Truly Verona clearly exceeded its legal obligations and this is completely unacceptable. I am going send a formal complaint to Booking.com and Italian authorities, because such breaches are too serious to ignore. For these reasons I cannot recommend Truly Verona to anyone, stay away.
