Very clean & new room. Excellent view of the Sokcho nighttime skyline.

No lobby, & the building was shared with Sunrise Hotel. Check-in was contactless by mobile app/website. The website will suddenly switch to Korean. If you need help, you won’t get any, cos the Sunrise Hotel staff at the lobby ignore you when you ask for help, when they see that you booked the room World State Hotel. So it was fortunate that I did not run into any problems during my 1 night stay there.

easy to park and good service

There was an electrical hum that changed frequencies constantly. very annoying and difficult to get to sleep. Maybe just an issue with that specific room and we didn't complain, so they didn't have an opportunity to rectify.

Clean room and comfty beds. Easy to control room temperature. Unobstructed ocean view was great.

No bathtub & low water pressure.

Good location near food and shopping. Room was clean and comfortable. Host are very helpful on answering my question on room / parking

Exceptionally clean with ample space. Very useful having a washing machine and a drying rack. Having a freezer as well as a fridge seemed unnecessary.

Complete nightmare if you don’t have Wifi as all communication is conducted via WhatsApp! It would be useful for directions to have known that it was in the same building as Sunrise Hotel which is more familiar to taxi drivers.

Very lovely apartment, central location.

checking in was a bit difficult because it’s part of a different hotel and can only get in the room via receiving a text message. Once we figured it out the stay was lovely.
