Cutterscove Resort Apartments

We had a kitchen in the apartment so made our own breakfast. The location was great in terms of the view but a bit far to walk to the cafes in the winter. Would be fine in the summer.

Toilets systems were old and needed to be constantly pumped in order for the cistern to fill up.

The facilities were fantastic, the location was great, the room was big and spacious with everything you need for a self contained apartment. Would definitely return, but take my own pillows and a mattress topper! The linen was fresh and clean, Netflix loaded on the TV, nice and private apartment but with great views. Beach access right across the road. The lady there at check in was lovely, friendly and helpful.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, and pillows were too soft with no support. I would suggest mattress toppers or something. Didn't sleep well at all. Unfortunately the lady the rest of our stay was not so friendly or welcoming. Was very abrupt and made you feel you were a pain by being there. (A smile can go a long way)

Heated pool, great for the kids. 3 bedroom apartment spacious for family with 4 kids. Perfect central location.

Great spa pool & beach location

This is our e mail torturers cove following our stay. We were surprised they didn't reply so all bets are off. We also wanted to provide some feedback on our stay. For approx 20 years we have been regular guests, bringing our children then grandchildren over the years. Our daughter left for her wedding from there and we've very much enjoyed every stay and made many memories over the years. Unfortunately our last visit will be just that. Our apartment was very disappointing. Whilst beachfront it was impossible to see through the glass. I understand the weather was bad, but this could have been cleaned regularly. It is in desperate need of refurbishment and does not reflect the $400 per night in comparison to the luxury local airbnb market, which is likely to be a far more attractive option for the price. Appliances were outdated, there was oil spilt still on the hob, oven was broken which we were aware of, walls and ceiling looked smeary and unclean, bathroom mirror had deteriorated, toilet roll holder was falling off the wall, curtain rails rusty, stains on bedroom curtains, main bed had dreadful roll together, furniture and decor was cheap, tacky and dated just to name a few observations. It missed special touches, it missed attention to detail. Your price point should reflect the quality, we suspect the price reflects the location.

Staff went over and above as we had a delayed arrival. Very helpful and can't fault staff or management. Great pool, but a bit cold when we stayed.

The bedrooms had no windows at all which wasn't made clear. The unit we were in was not in great condition and was in need of repairs and/or upgrades. If we stayed here again we would want to ensure we didn't have this room. This may be specific to this unit though, so can't speak for the condition or layout of other units.
