The location is perfect in an idyllic little town, and the host is extremely friendly, with a lovely café just downstairs. We were able to leave our luggage before check-in, were warmly welcomed with an espresso, and he gave us great recommendations for our hike. Honestly, the host alone deserves 10 stars! (His tour tip was the Pico Grande round trip – about 1,300m elevation gain and 19–20 km, but absolutely worth it!) Everything was just wonderful – the facilities and cleanliness of the accommodation left nothing to be desired. We can only recommend it! Thanks for everything!

Appartement spacieux , très propre et bien équipé au cœur du village ,proche de tous les sentiers de randonnée

La vie au cœur du village peut reprendre assez tôt. La grasse matinée n’est pas toujours possible.

Booked last minute as I been hiking through Madeira and needed a place to stay the night, when I got to the property the owner was there waiting for me, showed me around and let me be. Very nice gentleman and was very helpful even pointed me some places to eat. The place was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, nice hot bath. Beautiful view from the balcony looking at the mountains and valley. Will definitely book again 🙌🏼 highly recommend this place 🙌🏼

Nothing negative to point out. Very happy. I only needed a room for the night but had the whole apartment for a great price 👍🏼

L'emplacement : quel plaisir de profiter du balcon face à la vallée ! Parfaitement également pour se lancer dans l'ascension du Pico Grande. La cuisine bien équipée et la supérette à proximité immédiate. Très propre. Literie confortable.
