The peace and quite of the valley was interrupted by the church bell and some crazy dogs in the early mornings.

klein minpunt is de gehorigheid van het gebouw in combinatie met enkele deuren in de gang die veel herrie maken en die je dus de hele tijd hoort. De bakpannen hebben een kapotte teflon laag. Inrichting is beetje sober, zou wat aangekleed mogen worden.

Het is een groot en schoon appartement. De verhuurder is ook erg aardig en het uitzicht is heel mooi. Echt iets anders dan anders!

Extremely comfortable bed compared to some of the other accommodation we stayed at on Madeira. Nice bathroom and everything was clean. Space to park car off the street. Scenery is lovely, a truly beautiful and unique town. Manuel and Mel were very friendly hosts.

The apartment is comfortable but in my opinion not Superb, I don't understand why there are so many 10 star reviews. We had the apartment with the side view, it's very clean and functional and does a job but that is it, there are no luxuries here. The bed was very comfortable, and it is a good base for walking and the area is beautiful with spectacular scenery.

The interior just seemed a bit dismal, empty and echoey and not very cosy and could do with brightening up, the balcony was ok but overlooked some junk in an adjacent car park area. The town itself seems a little run down with a few basic bars and restaurants and most places close by around 7pm so it seems more of a place for day trips
