Valley of Nuns Holiday Apartments

Very spacious apartment (too big for me as a solo traveller, but it was the cheapest hotel left). Well equipped and comfortable. The host was very friendly.

Fantastic views from the apartment. Everthing was clean and well presented.

Front room disnt have curtains. Kitchen door didn't open well, it hit the floor when opening.

This is the perfect apartment to use as a hiking base for the Valley of Nuns (Curral das Freiras) and surrounding mountains. Apartment is fairly basic but has everything needed and was so perfectly situated. We would definitely book this apartment again.

Execellent location, close to shop, restaurant, bus stops, paths and perfect view. The apartment was spotless clean, very well equipped and comfortable. Owner is great person, easy to talk to, quick to react and full of advices. I can wholeheartedly recommend the stay here.

The appartment is located in the center of the main village of the valley. The end/start of the walking trail to the outside world is close by.

The living room is small, while the kitchen is large, but with hardly any furniture, not very cosy.

I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment. It was very comfortable, spacious and offers all the necessary amenities. I had to opportunity to speak to the owner before leaving who was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to couples and small families as an ideal starting point for a hike up the mountains.
