Chateau Orleans

Great property.

A nice location in the French Quarter, and interesting building from the outside, but not well maintained. Paint peeling in places and the mattress sagged in the middle.

We arrived to New Orleans in the early afternoon after driving all night, after parking our car and walking around we were exhausted and had HOURS until check in. We decided to check out the hotel and when we got there the lady at the front desk was so nice, she immediately let us check in and gave us our keys at no extra charge. The property is beautiful and right in the perfect location. The stairs (we were 4th floor) are hell! But we knew what we booked. Every experience here was amazing. Each worker we came into contact with was extremely pleasant and helpful. Extremely happy with this find! Cannot wait to come back with our kids! If you’re looking for a small local hotel, this is the place for you!

This place was super cute and super close to all the fun:) Only a few complaints. 1, no elevator in our building and we was on the third floor. 2, the bed was too big for the room you basically had to crawl over the bed to get to the rest room. The courtyard was super cute but didn’t have much sunlight because of the tall buildings I think. Had a blast and would definitely go back, but would stay in the building that has a elevator(:

Authentic French Quarter environ in 19th century restored buildings. Each accommodation has its own look and furnishings are vintage and appropriate for the real NOLA experience. Great weather, great location and management, incomparable food and shopping in easy walking distance. Streetcars and rickshaws extend your range to include the river, casino, and the French Market. Jazz clubs and bars abound. As one local resident expressed to me, “If you’re not having a great day, it’s your own fault.l

The room was interesting. Antique style furniture was cool. Mattress felt like it was 100 years old as well. The chairs around the pool had a terrible odor. The place is cute. Needs some Tlc.

If you want to be close to Bourbon Street, it’s great – very authentic-The New Orleans experience

Lovely quintessential New Orleans property. Great location, nice pool area and balcony.

I had to carry my luggage up and down several flights of stairs. They failed to assign me to a floor level or elevator accessible room.

Authentic New Orleans feel. Perfect location for Jazz Fest! Will definitely stay again!

Spiral stairs are steep and can be tricky at times
