Kuta Reef Apartments

Very expensive for a family of 5 , with no free breakfast worked out to be 300.00 per day Not value for money at all, compared to a high class resort, Cleaning staff very poor . Rats in the roof kept us awake . Scary not used to hearing that sound , you don't know if they can get into the room they are so close right above your head where you sleep. Was made to clean up vomit on the balcony, rails included, that was left there by prior tenants, because cleaning staff had not cleaned the balcony so had not seen it was already there , I had grandchildren in that room , they didn't even know there was a balcony there . Nobody was sick , I am 70 it took an hour , in that heat ,degrading, disgusting , not wanting to argue because we are in a foreign country and it can be frightening, we had already had a disagreement over the cleaners only doing half a job . Great ;location

Traffic getting to the location is bad but not something that can be controlled.

Lovely, well appointed apartment within a larger resort complex with full use of the resort facilities. Very clean apartment and a private pool which was shallow but refreshing. Best of all was the communication provided by the owners, always responsive and they went above and beyond when I asked if they could provide any services for my daughter’s birthday during our stay. They said they could provide a few flower decorations on the bed…what we got…a bedroom filled with flowers from frangipani flowers all over the bed, to the bed head and shelves lined with beautiful flowers, to the bedside table decorations for her and her sister, to the rose petals that said happy birthday and marigolds that had her name and a sign on her bedroom door wishing her a happy birthday; let’s just say she was overjoyed with emotion when she walked into her room. Then we find a beautiful heart shaped Black Forest cake in the fridge, with even the little details thought of with candles and a lighter. Wow, just wow, what fantastic hosts, we would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We loved everything about this apartment. It's spacious . A real home away from home in a nice part of Tuban close to the beach, with a real local vibe, and lots of good food for a much cheaper price than other parts of Kuta. The manager Desak is a very nice person and very helpful. The cleaners do a great job.
