ALTHAEA LUXURY ROOMS

Superb property spotlessly clean , we had a quadruple room and it was perfect. Alkis and Nina are fantastic hosts very friendly and extremely helpful, they will do anything for you just ask . 5 minutes from main strip and 3 minutes from supermarket and bus stop 3 . Loved it no hesitation in going back .

Nothing everything was perfect

The people working at and running Althaea luxury rooms were very lovely, friendly, helpful & welcoming. The hotel itself had everything you could need, and was also very modern and clean. We also loved that it was a smaller hotel, so it was less noisy and not as busy as others may be (I.e., less likely to be lots of young children running around!). The bar/cafe area has a great menu with very affordable prices. It’s in a fab location, with only around a 5-10 minute walk to the main strip with shops, bars & restaurants. There is also a large supermarket just 2 mins up the road. The main beach is about a 15 minute walk, however there are closer small beach areas dotted around.

Only food and drinks purchased from the hotel cafe were allowed around the pool area (although for understandable reasons). This just meant that I couldn’t eat my usual large bag of Cheetos whilst sunbathing… which is probably a good thing actually!

I would give Althaea 15 stars if I could. The accommodation is beautiful, the pool is amazing. The rooms are exactly like the photos. Spotlessly clean, very comfy beds and amazing air-conditioning. Location is fabulous, 10 minute walk to town (no hills or steps) and a 3 minute walk to bus stop 3. The family who run the hotel are lovely people, extremely helpful. There is a little cafe/bar, very reasonably priced and the drinks and food are wonderful. It is very quiet and relaxing. If I didn't live on the other side of the world I would be back next year. I would highly recommend this accommodation

We travelled with our 17 year old Daughter so the property was an ideal space with a king bed, shower room and balcony downstairs and a double bed, shower room and balcony upstairs - much better than two separate hotel rooms. The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need and they are furnished to a high standard, modern and immaculately clean. The owners are so attentive and will do anything for you. They can recommend places to eat and visit. The pool area is quiet and relaxing. The sun beds are top class and there is plenty of shade. There is a snack bar, fully stocked and serves lovely food and snacks. The Althaea Rooms are simplistic luxury. They are in a fantastic location, only a five minute walk into the town. It is rare to get accommodation in the centre of town with a pool. There is a bus stop within a few minutes walk where you can get buses around the whole island and there is a big supermarket next door. We felt at home at Althaea Rooms. We were sad to leave and when visiting Skiathos again we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Everything superb.

Everything was amazing. This is highly recommended place with a great stuff. Alkis was a great host and he give us all needed informations and make our stay even better. Everything was super clean from the apparment to the outside area with a poll. Small caffe area was very nice with a great breakfast.This stay is a perfect 10!Thank you for everything and I hope we will see you again!!!
