We loved our stay here, actually extended it by 2 days. Room clean and kitchen had all essentials. Jesus at reception was lovey and helpful. Pool was great after a day walking around the island. Great value for money.

Lovely 2 bed family apartment, so much room, really clean pool, very clean communal and apartment areas.

Apartment was a very generous size. Kitchen appliances functioned well. Bathroom functioned well also.

Kitchen seemed like it was unfinished. Maybe some more shelves. Definitely needs a sharp knife. There needs to be hooks or dowels to hang wet items. There was literally nowhere to hang towels and bathing suits.

The location was fantastic. The place was very clean and we loved the hammock in the room and added bonus.

The apartment was spacious enough, clean and the host very friendly! It is NOT downtown and that is a good thing since a lot of people were complaining there due to loid partying every nigjt until 5 a.m. Also it is close to the beach.

The negative points are not the hotel's fault BUT be careful: Isla Holbox is not at all a paradise, relaxing place as it is advertised for. There are a lot of loud golf carts driving around, Yucatan in general but tje island have a sewage problem - whenever it rains the water is in the streets for days and creates a mud. It does stink a lot, in the pipes, in the bathroom. The island accepts way more tourists than it can handle and it shows. There are a lot of algae and brown water, you need to do a guided tour to get to the "paradise beaches". Not to disappoint or rant here, just be prepared.
