Casa aloha-Isla Holbox

The room is spacious and has a kitchen with a fridge. The facilities are okay but it is not a boutique hotel. Very close to Bilu, best breakfast & brunch in the island!

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 3pm for check-in and had to wait a further 20 mins. Our room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days and had to ask for the cleaner to attend. I was told that the cleaner couldn’t come into our room without requesting it. This was never explained to us on our first day as there wasn’t anyone in reception when we arrived and the cleaner gave us the keys (I disagree with this policy, cleaning should be expected daily without having to request it). The day the cleaner did our room, she forgot to replace our towels so we had to ask for them. It gets very muddy and dusty from the sand daily cleaning and towels would have been appreciated. The toilet smelled really bad, the fan and fridge were very noisy.

Big clean apartment with room, bathroom and kitchen. Very calm, two blocks from the beach and 5 blocks from the center. This island is amazing. Make sure to bring water shoes to walk in the streets if it rains.

You need to ask for changing towels early as the frontdesk is not availabke after 8pm

The hotel is near the beach but a bit far from the center and the water puddles made the walk to the center hard. The room was nice and the kitchen is a bonus.

There was no-one in the reception when we came to the hotel and no-one was there to check us out either. They have a watsapp number in the reception table to get in touch but they didn’t reply from that number. Also the towels and sheets had holes in them.

Great value for money. Friendly staff. Everything you need - decent shower, spacious room, huge comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, decent WiFi, swimming pool including shower and toilet. In a quiet place in town so you can sleep at night. The island is small enough to walk, bike or buggy to close by shops, the centre of town or the beach. The restaurant next door is gorgeous and fancy (if it's in your price range) otherwise the island has plenty to offer. Special shout out to Arte Sano and Kxtal Market for veggies/vegans.

Perhaps a couple more hooks or a rail to hang clothes / towels but you can make do by hanging on the back of the chairs. Not something that I didn't like but if you want to be at the centre (square with restaurants / bars / shops) of everything you may find this area too far out. It's a 10/15 min walk which is no problem for us in order to have peace and quiet but if you're lazy or don't like walking this might not suit you. Not beach front either but again I personally don't mind that as I enjoyed setting up on the beach sandback and walking up and down as opposed to staying in one beach club all day.

Spacious room with enough kitchen basics and reliable WI-FI to be self-sufficient. While the beach was not too far away, I enjoyed being in the neighborhood with locals.

The location was perfect, it’s walking distance for the beach and the centre, or really short ride by taxi. The room was really big and had everything we needed (I fell in love with the hamac) It’s in a quiet area and the staff was super friendly

Great location, the kitchen was a nice addition, building and grounds were nice.

Great location, rooms very spacious with a large kitchen. Good pool, never used but looks fab. Only 2 min walk to the beach, cafes, shop. Really quiet, staff super helpful and laundry is cheap and good

Air con wasn’t very cold but it did the job
