Tucan Resort & Spa

- Room was comfortable, bedding was nice, all amenities necessary were there. Liked the little kitchen a lot. - Staff was very pleasant and the boss was extremely nice and helpful when we encountered issues with our room (moved us to an identical room). - Breakfast was tasty even though it takes a little time to be served, waiter was very nice. - Bathroom is also nice, with bathrobes and more than enough towels. Might be a little small for some but it was perfect for our group. - It was very calm and peaceful, perfect if you're booking to get some rest in a beautiful environment.

- The stairs next to our room made a lot of noise, which can disturb your sleep. - Not as clean as we would expect for the price, the second room we had was clean though. - The location, having a car is a must. Or you will pay a hefty amount for a taxi. (Good thing is reception can call you a taxi at any time) Also, beware of raining season, locals told us the area can get flooded really quick. - The pool was unavailable for our whole 3 day stay because it was getting renovated, the hotel didn't offer us a discount or anything, so we didn't enjoy much from the hotel besides our room.

Very comfortable bed

The room was nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. The staff was very pleasant for the most part. However, one of the kitchen staff wasn't the most friendly. She just always seemed annoyed by some of our requests. (Maybe she was just having a bad day, who knows). The guys at the entrance gate were always very nice, friendly and helpful. We very much appreciated their assistance, especially when it was pouring rain.

Had a great stay…..the rooms were clean and the ladies who did the breakfast were awesome….would definitely recommend.

Couldn't buy the cocktail I wanted, because the bartender couldn't make it. The cocktail i ordered was not complete.
