Apartment was fine

Wanted to upgrade my reservation (5 days before arrival and after the cancellation period had passed) to a 2 bedroom apartment to accommodate 2 additional family members. Beach Haus wanted to charge me $700 more than the rate that was listed on Booking.com for the same apartment because it was past my cancellation date. They ended up going to a different hotel because we felt that the Beach Haus was taking advantage of us.

Best location, pool everything was really nice except 2 notes I have and that is so this place will be flawless 🙏🏼 if I wouldn’t care about this place, I wouldn’t leave such notice below and I really really want this place to be perfect which that’s only what it deserves and I don’t want no other children to be hospitalized if that was the reason. So with all due respect.:

The floors are extremely dirty and no matter what you say they just swift the floors instead of mopping and they don’t use any cleaning detergent just hot water. It doesn’t clean. You may think you spent thousands of dollars and they would have proper cleaning what I experienced is just the floors. Everything else is nice and clean, this is our second time staying and I am using this app if you want the unit to be cleaned you have to pay extra about $80 each time because you using this app! Now that's a bummer. Its literally saying you used booking.com now we will not move a finger unless you give us more money. all do that once and they try to clean the floor but again as I described above. I had to take my child to the emergency room because it touched his eyes and caused some kind of irritation! Don't know if it's the floors or what! Never happened. After that, we started to clean it every day. Look at the pictures below that is my child and my wife cleaning the floors. Now he is much better. I don’t know how else I can put this. It’s just really bad!! But everybody’s friendlyad if you pay all exstar all good))). Now we know and next time will buy a map and go becaus everything else is just perfect, acsept the dumpster .. they dont empty and you need to push the garbage from the person that put it before, so the maintenance needs to check it very often and replaced the dumpster with an empty one regularly, which they don’t anyhow not a big deal… Remember you in Florida don’t be like me and expecting too much. It’s just that my child went to the emergency room which is a 15 month old. It really got me mad and I texted them prior booking that I want the floors to be clean. because before it was the same again.Florida …

Maintenance of the rooms should be improved.

The apartment was spacious, clean, well equipped (washing machine, dryer, smart TVs, etc.) and had a very good sound isolation. The king bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of space to put our stuff in the bedroom cabinets. The staff was also very helpful as they promptly assisted us with an administrative request. Also, it was awesome that they provided free towels and sunbeds on the beach.

Clear markings or signs should be added to assist guests in finding the property's section of the beach, as we had a bit of difficulty locating it. Also, a dishwasher would have been a great addition to our comfort. :)
