Alpin-Residence Amadeus

Beautiful residence at Siusi. It was decorated lovely for Christmas. Large, very clean and comfortable Apartment ( Vivaldi ) with two double rooms and two bath rooms. The staff was very very friendly... Amadeus is close to the only one cableway which takes you up to Alpe di Siusi to the ski slopes. Highly recommend....

A Family run apartment hotel, recently managed by the daughter, Claudia is the perfect place to stay near Alpe di Siusi. Claudia, her father and mother were unusually warm and helpful, even offering to purchase food for us due to our late arrival. Claudia, a recent graduate of a hotel management school is especially keen to please her guests. She spent considerable time informing us about all our vacation opportunities in the area, recommended hikes, has special relationships with several restaurants offering discounts, which we used. The residence is perfectly located, a five minute walk from the bus stop from Bolzano, a five minute walk to the lift up to the gorgeous plateau, which we used almost every day, and a seven minute walk into the town for grocery shopping and restaurants. The apartment was airy, with lovely views, beds were excellent, and it was very quiet in the evenings. Claudia and her father offered us all kinds of kitchen applicances which are stored in a closet on our floor, so feel free to ask for whatever you need. I can't imagine a more comfortable place to stay so close to the spectacular hiking there.

I write this rewiev to thank Family Pricher for lovely holidays that we have spent in Residence Amadeus in Siusi. Been there twice (2014 and 2015) and can´t wait for next February when we´ll go back. We are big family group travelling (five adults and four children) and Residence Amadeus offers everything that we need and expect for comfortable and relaxing holiday. Apartments are spacious, they are well equipped and very clean. We appreciate that there is comfortable beds, spacious bath rooms, lot of wardrobe space, washing machine, dish washer, garage – just everything what we need. The location is also great and quiet. Only a few minutes walking form Alpe di Siusi Aerial Cableway and few minutes from the center of Siusi. It is perfect for holiday with family. The very first time we chose to go to Siusi and Residence Amadeus because there are great possibilities for both downhill and cross country skiing in Alpe di Siusi area. But nowadays there is also another reasons to go there than great slopes and tracks and breathtaking scenes – The Residence Amadeus, and friendliness and helpfulness of the owners, Family Pricher, is one of the most important reasons why we´ll go back.

Good Location, a few minutes walk from the center, and a few minutes from the forests and beautiful hikes! Well equipped apartments, well maintained, friendly and helpful owners. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you Amadeus!

Well stocked and comfortable. Felt right at home. Owners and their daughter are super friendly, helpful, and respectful. Not as close to town center as others, but located in a quiet part of town with beautiful architecture, 5 min walk. Friendly cats and snails abound. My apartment had two large porches with nice views. Rates are especially low and you have the cute town to yourself just prior to the big flower blossoming / lift opening.

A little gem of accommodation. We have stayed in these apartments over several years and can't fault them. The apartments are a good size, plenty of wardrobe space and places to dry wet ski clothing. Always warm and always hot water and spotlessly clean. The location is great, very quiet and only 5minutes to the gondola. We have always travelled to the resort under our own steam and the bus stop is only 1 minute away so super handy. Looking forward to our next visit and hope to experience the village in the summer.

We've been to these lovely apartments quite a few times now. We keep going back because they provide us with what we are looking for in holiday accommodation. The apartments are clean and warm and a good size. The beds are very comfortable and there is always loads of hot water on tap. Plenty of space is provided to hang up your damp ski gear. It was super to have both a washing machine and dish washer and there were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils so we were able to cook our meals well. The owners were very friendly, helpful and kind. Just hope we can get back there some day soon. Marj

A newly refurnished hotel apartment, practically situated next to Suisi village and 5 min walk to the cable car, which will take you to the mountain plateau. From there you can either walk small paths enjoying the view of the meadows surrounded by the beautiful mountains or hike to higher summits/via ferrata. The residence Amadeus offers several apartments. We had the Liszt on the 3rd floor. One bedroom apartment with a small, new and well equipped kitchen/lounge area (washing machine, washing dishes, fridge, small freeze, two eating plates, a micro-wave, a safe), a small, bright bathroom, a bedroom with closet and a large terrace (to eat or just sit and relax). The apartment is deserved by a lift going from the garage to the top floor. It was very clean, with good quality bedding/linen. There is to notice that some traffic can be heard late evening and early morning if you leave your window open. We missed a oven to bake pizza for ex, a water boiler and a toaster (the latter was possible to access in the bar area). Great pizza can be found in the nearby (2 min) restaurant, Salegg. A nice little walk will take you to the center of Suisi, where you can find two bakeries (mark the opening time), a butcher and a grocery with nice vegetable desk. The village is quiet and not super populated as you may find in val gardena. The village is well connected by cheap buses, which can take you to neighboring villages and valleys, being a very convenient way to access different hikes in the mountains or just to get to know the region without driving narrow roads yourselves. The owners are a pleasant couple, of which one speaks english. They are helpful. A 6 nights stay costed less just than 600 euros for two persons, but additional extras like linen, balcony set, parking and final cleaning added a cost of 130 euros, which might be found a bit expensive. Overall a pleasant stay.

We spent new year holidays in Siusi and Amadeus was excellent accomodation in terms of friendliness, ease of access to lifts and slopes and fair price. Also the garage facility and play room offer a great help for large family with car and children. We shall certainly return. A.Auricchio
