Residence La Dolce Vita

Such a modern, tastefully designed, spacious home on the Amalfi Coast. Our suite had plenty of room for our family of four. We loved the very large balcony, the views, the cats, the beautiful dome ceilings & that the bathroom was large and two separate rooms (one with toilet and sink, one with shower and sink). Staff at Regina Palace was great. Great storage. Just loved it. Maiori is such a great location. Has grocery stores, a great boardwalk, playgrounds & the best beaches on the entire coast. We also loved the hidden beach on site and we were often the only people there. It even has caves!

As Americans, we like having a microwave, but that wasn’t a big deal. The off site parking was complicated but that’s to be expected on the Amalfi Coast and the parking staff was SO sweet. Love those guys.

The Kitchen was good and well stocked, no complaints there. There was a nice view from the property and you could go down to the beach and avail of sun loungers...for a fee. The staff in the Regina Hotel were very nice, especially Rafaelle who was a perfect gentleman.

There was a lack of clear instructions online about where the property was and it was difficult to find and further from the town than we expected. There was only a sofa bed which was awful to sleep on and had a musty smell off it. We were never provided with fresh towels or the property was never cleaned by anyone apart from ourselves during a six day stay. The wifi reception was really poor and there was no network coverage so we were pretty much cut off from the internet during the stay. The drain for the shower was blocked and even the briefest of showers resulted in flooding of the bathroom and front door area. The sun loungers on the beach next to the property cost between 35 and 50 euro to rent and caught us unawares.
