Villaggio Calispera

The property is located in a very scenic area overlooking the Eolian islands and Capo Vaticano and nearby bays. The stairs to the private beach are not a challenge for most people. The beach itself is pretty but rather small and rocky (it wasn't crowded during out stay but on peak season it may be a different story). The swimming pool is also small but clean and well kept, our son had a great time there and it wasn't crowded. Buffet breakfast was good and the restaurant served decent Italian food although a bit pricey. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We found a great deal at the end of August so for the price it was a good value.

The apartment was a bit outdated and the bathroom could have been in better conditions (toilet seat was loose, shower pan had spots with moldy or missing grout). Overall the rooms were a bit dark and the TV wasn't working. The wifi signal was very spotty, it would only work on the balcony outside the apartment and in the buffet restaurant which was right above.

Vecchie le stanze con pareti buccia d’arancia arancione fucsia e giallo e copriletto anni sessanta tutto degradato cestino dei rifiuti e porta asciugamani sedile del water rotti condizionatore rumorosissimo materasso scomodo (ormai anche nei b&b più basici c’è di molto meglio) buffet della colazione quasi imbarazzante tre mele vecchie un cestino con 4 fettine di pane brioche vecchie… mentre per chi andava al bar attiguo c’erano delle brioche grandi e fresche…

Geniale Lage direkt an der Steilküste. Dadurch super Blick auf das Meer und die Umgebung. Der Pool war ausreichend groß und immer sauber. Auch von der Terrasse des Apartments herrlicher Blick auf das Meer. Schöner ruhiger Privatstrand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen.

Die Ausstattung des Apartments könnte etwas besser sein. Es gibt keine Weingläser, keine Kaffeemaschine und keinen Wasserkocher. Das Plastikmöbel auf der Terrasse ist etwas unbequem.
