The Swiss Side Iten

Really the team there so kind. thanks for Cynthia and Colin’s and the whole team for make me feel so comfortable and happy. The facilities were excellent, the hospitality was great and I’m highly recommended for anyone want to go to iten. See you guys soon 🌹

There was no offered breakfast which was fine, and maybe it was me, but I thought based on memory this place was supposed to have a restaurant on site from the descriptors but it did not. (there was some sort of room and board for some folks staying there I think). The place could have been made a lot more homey by just adding a night light by the bed for ease of reading, and also adding kitchen towels and dish soap to the room/studio. Other than that staff was really friendly, the masseuse on site was great and the tours their company had listed fit the bill but in the case of the hiking trail could have had better descriptors for safety (as it would have been unsuitable for some hikers for sure and I am a 60 year old physical therapist so aware of inherent risks in this kind of activity as I have done a lot or rehab on severe brain injured folks due to many a freak (or not freak accident).

See above as I put it all in there. Thank you. Overall a good stay and I would recommend it to others. Also, although they had a great touring company and of course we all have the internet to look it up it might have been nice to have a listing of fun things to do in Iten itself (as opposed to all the touring options Swiss side has like the hikes/safaris etc). Having travelled to many countries it is nice sometimes to get the insiders listing of what THEY would do if they live in ITEN as they know it like a local and a tourist may miss some of the hidden gems of a litttle town like ITEN.

I spent a weekend at Swiss Side Iten and the entire staff was very welcoming and friendly. The place offers good rooms with the basics needed for a good stay. Sauna and cold-water bathtub are a plus. Excellent location, close to the main road.

The place itself is great. The sauna is nice after a long hike/run and the team very friendly. Rooms are clean.

The organization and Charlie the manager made my stay at this place very bad. It can happen that some organisation with booking.com are not perfect but the way it happened here to me was new. I got threatened to involve the police and communication was very harsh - as I was still on my trip, it was very unpleasant to deal with the manager. Great place itself but the way the management treats its guest is not the way to do - would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great location and safe in the area ! Nice family atmosphere. I did a safari for a fair price and good service : ) Good and fresh local food !!

Breakfast lunch and dinner was way under the standart that a atlete needs and eSpecially what you pay for. ( i could eat 4 times for the same ammount healtier and better ( protein and veggies) They say that they will clean every week but at the end they didnt clean it for 12 days You have to buy your own coocking pan it issnt there Communication is bad , dobble renting appartments and equipement, you have to fix your rented material your self or waith for 2-4 days atleast ( no equipement to do the repair)
