The views 🩵 This place is not exactly on the Amalfi Coast, but a good 20 mins bus ride uphill, followed by another 15 min hike to a small town called Pogerola, but the views from the balcony will melt your heart after the long wait for the infrequent buses, and the hike. Simple, clean and decently spacious house with a functional kitchen (of course you need to hike uphill for 15 mins to the nearest grocery store and then back down).

Location was a huge disappointment. We had to plan our entire itinerary around bus timings- the last bus on a Sunday is at 10pm, and then you have a hike to undertake so you can't really be out in your heels till late at night. You waste a lot of your precious vacation time travelling to and from this place, which is just not ideal. Maybe if you want to live on top of a hill in a little villa with sea view, this might make sense, and of course you'll be indoors if it starts raining, in which case you'll find a tiny screen in the bedroom as TV.

We loved the location in Pogerola away from super busy Amalfi. Pogerola had a few great restaurants and a couple of food shops for basics . The apartment had a great balcony with a fantastic view. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to help with anything we needed like an iron, more coat hangers and printing off train tickets. It was great value for money!

I can’t write enough amazing things about this host and this property!! First of all I can’t emphasize enough how absolutely INCREDIBLE this property was!! It was incredibly clean, well taken care of and such a cozy and cute design on the inside. My husband and I felt so at home while being here, we didn’t want to leave. Also the view is BREATHTAKING. We would sit out on our own private balcony for hours every morning just looking at the incredible view. You’re so high up and have a perfect view of the water. If you are thinking about staying in Amalfi I can’t recommend this place enough!! If my husband and I ever come back to Amalfi we will stay here every time! Also the host went above and beyond with making our stay so special! She has great communication, is so kind and is the definition of true Italian hospitality. My husband and I felt so taken care of and welcomed. Best host we’ve ever had and most beautiful property we’ve ever stayed at!!

Beautiful views. Fully self contained with oven, stove top, toaster and kettle. We had a lovely stay with amazing views. Hosts were lovely and very easy to deal with and contact. We did the walk trail down to Amalfi town. It was about 1000 steps down but a lovely walk. Small town of Pogerola had some lovely little restaurants. The pizza place especially was very good and great staff. There are a lot of steps though! There is a local bus that takes you to Amalfi but only runs half hourly during the week. Bus drivers aren’t very helpful at all. We had the locals help us more. You cannot buy tickets on the bus. You can buy from the local shop.

The location is farther from Amalfi town, so you'll need to take a bus. The property is in a local area where residents live, with no tourists around, and it's a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. The area is also less fancy compared to other parts of town. The appliances are relatively outdated, and both the mattress and pillows are quite worn. The apartment could benefit from some fresh upgrades. The bus to town is always full, and the atmosphere gets chaotic as people scramble to get on due to the very limited number of seats.

Very spacious, with super beautiful ocean views. My only suggestion could be to offer a pick up and drop service at the bus station. Everything else was great.

Basic but very clean apartment with exceptional views from the perfect balcony. Regular bus service to Amalfi was excellent.

101 steps from front door to road. About 200 steps from there to the village which disproves the advertised claim to be a 5 minute walk there. We only used public transport so with our average age of 72 we had a real logistical problem. The owners were not sympathetic as we had hoped that being local they would have offered to get our luggage to the bus stop.

The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. A pillow topper wouldn't go astray. I would suggest byo pillow.

This location has a very beautiful view. Indeed there are several stairs on which you need to go up and down (depending if you are leaving the location or coming back to it) in order to reach the bus station and for some of you effort might be needed, but it is worth doing it if your health condition allows it. It is not impossible at all. Before we arrived at this location I read some reviews in which some people were saying that they had to wait several times for the bus as the connection from Pogerola to Amalfi and viceversa is not that good. From our opinion it was not an issue at all as you can organize in order to catch the bus back and forth to the location. The warmth of the owner and of the staff meant a lot. They were always ready to help with everything we needed. We recommend this location if you want to visit Amalfi coast.

Well equipped. Stunning views, spacious. The host was exceptionally helpful, gave us lots of information, how to catch the bus etc. Loved it.

We drove in to Amalfi. Road going in wasn't fun, narrow, lots of hairpin bends. Lots of traffic. But we got there!
