Al Poggio Antico

Very nice property that had a clear view right down to the sea. Plenty of space and an outside patio. Very quiet at night. A choice of restaurants nearby. Although away from Amalfi center the relaxing place to stay is more acceptable with the facilities offered, space to relax and enjoy the outstanding view to the sea. The hosts were very helpful and made it more enjoyable to staying there.

Expensive taxi to get to property. Later used a bus service that ran one an hour down to Amalfi Center. You have to be fairly fit as there are 176 steps upto bus stop!

Beautiful location with beautiful views, good public transport buses run very often till late , close to amalifi, hosts were lovely and very helpful, gave us welcome jams and crackers , milk , coffee, tea , gave us clean towels and toiletries when needed, private garden and balcony was beautiful with a sea view.

The apartment was nice and spacious, kitchen had everything needed and the bedroom was a very nice size with air conditioning. Views were awesome and the people in the town of Pogerola are really nice. Staff are very nice and helpful throughout the whole stay.

Amazing apartment, host was very pleasant, explained everything! There is some food for light breakfast, bed and towels are very clean! We just enjoyed our stay and want to come back!

Unfortunately it was really difficult to reach the holiday home. We were not informed about that there would be 150 stairs to our apartment and we did not get the timetable for the regional bus. Once we waited more than 1.5 hour for the bus:(((( and there were tiny worms in the kitchen.

Cleaner apartement, if I knew how difficult to get there I would have booked a other place.

the view was lovely and this was the best aspect of the place.

Firstly the wifi is terrible so if you need to do even a little work on your vacation its impossible. There was no fridge freezer, so can't have ice for your drinks or keep anything frozen, no microwave, kitchen cooker and fan extractor were not working, so self-catering is a disaster. Additionally your not allowed any disposable BBQs there either so cooking options are very poor. Also, note to get to your apartment you have to defend and ascend over 200 steep steps so this is NOT for the faint-hearted and you need to be fit for older unfit people it's not advised to stay here there are many more available options in this area better priced and way better facilities. also to get to it from the main road is a long walk a couple of km, seems closer but yet again it's a very steep climb. if you go by car there is parking but the road is extremely narrow and very easy to scrape the sides of your car against others and the short wall. again this is not for the faint-hearted. The beds are very uncomfortable and if you want internet its terrible you can't work with it. lastly, if you have noisy neighbours at night you can hear every word they say on the balcony or in your room.

We really liked the view, and Enza, who did the check in with us was really helpful, and recommended us great places to eat and to go around !
