This was our first time visiting Tobago, and we were so pleased we chose castara Inn. The apartment was absolutely beautiful it had everything thing you needed and was spotlessly clean. From the balcony in the evening, watching the sunset was spectacular. And waking up in the mornings, hearing the sound of waves and all the birds around was delightful. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet Rhonda, but she was a great help to us before we even arrived in Tobago. Marlon was there to meet us on our arrival he was an excellent host, and we could not have wished for anyone better. It was definitely paradise, and we will be going back, we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tobago you will not be disappointed.

There was definitely nothing not to like

The appartement was perfect for me. It was very comfortable, clean, neat and had everything I needed. The view from the garden down to the sea is astonishing. When I openened my door, I could hear the waves and the birds singing. Sitting on a bench in the garden and enjoying this surrounding with a coffee in my hand, was just like a dream. The location is great, it is a 5-10 mins to the center of Castara and the beach. Rhonda and Andrew were always very helpfull and pro-active. Even a late check-in worked out perfect, as I was running late after my arrival to Tobago. I would definately recommed this place to solo travellers as well as couples. The area is so beautiful. It was very lively in the evening at a café at the town center and there is a nice restaurant up on the hill, on the way to the center, where you can enjoy great food or just a sundowner. I ll be back for sure.

Loved the place. Excellent location, walkable to the beach (Castara beach) and some restaurants as well as a store. Beautiful patio with fantastic views of palm trees and turquoise ocean. Studio is wonderful, very well-spaced, not over the top, but feels luxurious. Loved waking up to see the palm trees through the blue curtains. Staff very friendly. Rhonda (the host) very quick to respond via whatsapp. Another major plus is that Castara Inn is only a 10minute drive from the amazing Englishman's Bay beach. This beach is something else, even though it can have strong surf at times.

Kitchen counter space around the wall outlets was a bit tight, it was hard to have a coffee machine, toaster and/or mini stove plugged in at the same time. But we were able to work around it.

All was perfect!!!

Our host was amazing! I had a million questions, and they answered all of them. We were missing our French press, and they brought one to the door. I’m convinced this is the best place in town to stay! The price point is good, and the location offers some privacy without compromising quality, location, or views. The unit we stayed in (one of the upper ones) had two bedrooms, was very modern with amazing kitchen appliances and had a balcony with a lovely view of the forest and ocean. There were beautiful sunsets. If you don’t mind hills, the property is a short 10 minute walk to town and the beach. It’s a 10 minute drive to two other even better beaches. There are also plenty of places to eat in town. The only downside is that there is no gas for an hour and the roads are curvy, so fill up beforehand. There was an atm, but it didn’t work for us for some reason. Several places take cards, but some don’t. Castara Retreat is a 5 minute walk. Their restaurant is so good (though pricey), and they offer daily yoga for 80TT.

occasionally noisy road beside property, some noise from neighbouring apartment (via a connecting door), a long steep walk down to village but fine with a car.

We stayed in the 2BR house. A wonderful location with a beautiful view, great communication from Rhonda, and close enough to walk to the local central area, for beach, restaurants, and shopping. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking some meals. Bed cozy, big bathroom :) and lot's of storage space for unfolding into the comfy space. Thank you for a great stay!

All was great - Nothing more than a suggestion, to only enhance the experience even more! The kitchen is well appointed but just a little dark, adding another light in the cooking area, and living room would really improve the space. An easy fix. The view at sunset is wonderful if you could remove a section of the privacy/panels that for us was not needed. These are only suggestions, we would come back in a heart beat even if nothing changed with the above. Thank you!
