Castara Inn

We had a wonderful stay in Castara. It is a stunning location close to both the beach and the rainforest. Although there was a booking issue which meant we were offered alternative accommodation for part of our stay, Rhonda and her team were extremely helpful and made sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay both at the Inn and in Castara village. Nothing was too much trouble and we appreciated the way in which everything was generously sorted out for us.

The food in the neighborhood was excellent with a lot of options.

Breakfast was at a nearby restaurant which was ok. But there were multiple facilities nearby to have breakfast so that was ok if you want variation.The facility was very clean and spacious. We also ordered lobster dinner specially made for us and brought to our place. The food was delicious and i can highly recommend it. The location was beautiful and close to amenities. The host was available at all time and tended to our needs perfectly. I loved that you can park right in front of the facility. Oh and there was even a small black towel for the removal of your make-up. Very thoughtful.

Lovely place! Clean, SUPER FAST WIFI! 10/10

Our 2nd time and we love it. Super location, great view, lots of wildlife, excellent host and staff. Can’t fault it. This time we also ate at Duck’s for lunch and takeaways and at Castara Kitchen just down the hill a short way. Really nice restaurant for a treat.

The hill from the beach is a struggle for us but there is a solution! Rhondda arranged a car hire through Kevin which was super easy and convenient. Pick up from the hotel and drop off at the airport. You can’t then also explore the island.

Initially disappointed as our sea facing room faced the road. Apparently confusion over sea view description as can glimpse the sea from a side window. Rhonda kindly moved us to a much better room with large balcony overlooking the bay (unfortunately this room was only available for 6 of our 10 nights). For the better room would give 10 out of 10. Spacious, glorious view, fantastic bathroom and nice touches such as luxury towels and proper fridge freezer. Excellent Wi-Fi as a bonus. Loads of birds and wildlife.

The studio facing road was a bit cramped so had to live out of suitcases. Obviously lacked the great balcony and view of other room. For some reason seemed a lot noisier, could really hear people above and road noise especially as the gate to driveway seemed to be mostly open.

Location,view was superb. So well equipped, comfortable.
