Doga Apartments

Doga Apartments is a unique place set in old renovated stone houses (with the oldest building is said to be around 200 years old) around a lovely pool (unfortunately, we did not use it much in the late October season). The place is within walking distance from the Fethiye - Kayaköy - Hisaronü road and close to the "ghost town", an old Greek abandoned village (I recommend exploring the contours of the old Greek "ghost" buildings at night with a good torch). The rooms are pleasantly cool for hot Mediterranean summers, and reasonably well-equipped for a family stay. We stayed only 2 nights, but I liked the rural, peaceful atmosphere, a lot! (In my view, such quiet was a rare event as the place is said to be rather touristy in the high season, but in late October, we had the place for ourselves and spent some pleasant time with Ali the owner - I send him greetings! :-)

The price level in Kayaköy seems to be relatively high, I think. Although Doga Apartments is among the good-value places in Kayköy, it is not very cheap by Turkish standards (overall, I think the price for a family room was acceptable and by no means expensive). The small kitchen could be better equipped (including the dish-washing detergent and sponge etc.), with a slightly better choice of kitchenware etc. But this is a minor issue.

Gorgeous pool and property — peaceful and perfect. Kind host.

Air conditioning didn’t reach the second bedroom and so kids were very hot! Kitchenette could have been a bit more equipped.

- Relaxed, serene environment - Pool area was nice and relaxing - Beautiful design of buildings - Host was lovely - very polite and hospitable

- Location is very rural, and finding the place was difficult! It was certainly worth it though, as it was nice to be away from everything and we didn't have any issues with noise pollution. - AC is only in bedroom, but this didn't bother us as we stayed only one night & didn't need to use the kitchen.

The area is very quite and surrounded by nature. Most of the area has nice trees for shade. The stone apartments help to keep it cool during the summer hot months.

Not the fault of the apartment but the city lost power for a period of time. It is to be expected in these rural areas.

Just come back from an overnight stay at doga. The whole experience was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for Alan. Highly recommend

Location is lovely

Definitely one of the best villas in the town. Beautiful stone house built in a traditional style, garden with various trees, swimming pool. There is everything you need for a good rest.

Super nice place and nice host. Pool was very comfortable. Nice little town and food within walking distance. Highly recommended!
