Corte Pomponazza

Beautiful location close to the center, 10 minutes away from the historic center and lakes for relaxation. Large rooms with air conditioning, large and well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, big TV, insect screens in the windows, wonderful parking in the closed yard, helpful owner. Local cake, coffee and large fridge in the kitchen. Supermarket nearby - Carrefour. Nearby restaurants, bars. Major museums, palaces and churches nearby, connection to Palazzo Te by free bus, pleasant people.

On July was very hot in the whole town. In all three lakes without possibility of swimming.

Location and parking. Very quiet, but still central. A lot of useful information provided by the owner. Very smooth and efficient communication.

Everything was fine.

.The flat and facilities are much better than Booking. Com description and the host provided little essentials like coffee, sugar, oil, salt & pepper etc. There is even a dish washer! Car parking is secure , and within a pretty courtyard where we watched fledgling swallows and their parents! The host speaks good English and was very helpful. It is quiet and within easy walking distance of the town centre.

Two flights of stairs! Although the host kindly helped us with our cases , be aware that every trip out involves another climb back up the stairs , but it does burn off those pasta calories. Could do with a toaster. There are 4 gas rings but no oven or microwave, but there are plenty of shops selling pre cooked delicacies

The host was very good at communicating and gave us helpful suggestions re restaurants and the local area. The location was excellent for us - at the end of a cul de sac in a quiet area with private parking. The apartment was spacious and quite well appointed - it would be good for stays of 2 or 3 nights - we did not really have time to take advantage of all the facilities on offer.

The apartment was up several floors which could be a problem if you had mobility challenges/were not fit or had heavy luggage. One thing we found very off putting. We had rented the apartment at the advertised price. When we got there parts of the apartment were locked off. We were given a choice as to whether we required a double or twin room but having opted for the double, not given access - even to view - the twin or another room 'behind closed and locked doors'. We presumed the reason for this was to keep cleaning costs down, and the remainder of the apartment was perfectly adequate for the two of us........it just didn't feel right. We would have much preferred to have open doors with a request not to use them which we would have fully respected.

Comfortable, clean and warm (at the end of November) three-bedroom apartment, a few minutes' walk from the center of Mantua. The kitchen is very well equipped. Good Wi-Fi. The owner is attentive and helpful, he sent us detailed instructions on how to find the address. The option of parking in the inner courtyard is a great advantage.

Nothing comes to mind, really.

The place Is located directly in the city centre, very closed to the main monuments and includes parking for free. There's a reasonable value for money.
