Complaint Salalah Dear Customer Service, I am forced to waste my and your time, reporting this scam property as follows: I arrived for check-in at 2 pm driven by an Omani friend. I have been received by 2 Egyptians at the reception who before say "Hello" they asked me in a rude way my Passport (Italian Passport). They were starring at my passport like I am somebody sought after Police. In the meantime the two were quarreling my Omani friend in Arabic telling him that the access to the room is for me only and not for him. They treat us like we want to check-in in a "f**k hotel" or something, offending me and the person with me. As soon as I understand the attitude, I asked what is their problem and I knew already where the conversation leads to. So I start to talk to them with the same tone, stressing out who they were for talking to us this way. At the same time I was making them clearly to understand that I am treated unlawfully and in the roughest way, in a country that still is called OMAN and not Egypt for God sake. I decided it is time to leave, but not before telling them they have to go back to their country to keep this attitude so typical in their nation (unfortunately I had to work in Egypt in my life, a place I find myself miserable at least for their mendicant people and their fake attitudes and their obsession in thinking when a man and a woman talk together they are also partners in night time) and let the magic Oman being simply the gorgeous Oman it is when it comes on having Omani services and overall education and fair attitudes.

When I checked over phone before booking, I was told that they accept cards and while paying at the property, they said they don't have card machine. I booked this over priced property (cheaper rooms were available with same facilities) only because they said they accept card. This was a disappointing experience from the management.
