drongo place

It’s impossible not to leave a 10/10. Drongo was our best stay in Sri Lanka, such a peaceful place far from the noice of the town, but very close at the same time (15 min of a pleasant walk to the main beach). Bedroom was big enough with access to a kitchenette. Breakfast provided by the host was delicious, done with local food and recipes. It’s really worth it to stay more than 3 nights.

Clean, peaceful and the best breakfast !

I liked everything !

We stayed at Drongo Place for 4 nights and loved it. The rooms and courtyard are kept very clean. The breakfasts are delicious and change daily. The rooms stay cool throughout the day and evening. There were a lot of nice little touches that we really appreciated and made the stay more special. The location is also nice and quiet with plenty of wildlife. There are mosquito nets over all of the windows so we never had bugs in our room.

Nothing.

The breakfast was really good, homemade and with lots of fresh fruits and we could choose between coffee or tea. We could also choose the time when we wanted to have it. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. There were monkeys jumping around in the trees surrounding the property.

Super accueil. Chambre très spacieuse et agréable. Très beau jardin où nous prenions un petit déjeuner succulent et différent chaque jour.

Loved everything about this stay. Beautiful, peaceful place, amazing and helpful hosts. They were so kind and made my stay the best. They even woke up at 5 in the morning on the day of my flight to give me some breakfast!❤️ the breakfasts were some of the best food i had in Sri Lanka. Superb value for money also. Clean and nice rooms. Everyone should go to Drongo if you are coming to Hirikiteya.

Incredible host, breakfast and scenery

A little bit away from town esp if you're walking back late but this cant be helped, also the greenery makes up for it. Really recommend.
