It was lovely and clean and staff were very helpful

We stayed for a long weekend and it was fantastic, we were greeted by a young gentleman named Elliott who was so welcoming and friendly and showed us around. He also hosted the karaoke/quiz which was so much fun and my son loved it, the hotel had lots of locals in who were all so welcoming and created a great atmosphere. We also met Lucy and Caroline who were such lovely staff members. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and tea which was 10/10 and so affordable. Lucy's breakfast is by far the best we have had. The cottage was so cute and very comfortable, especially the beds. I would 100% recommend and we will be returning.

That we didnt book for a longer stay, as we had such a fantastic time.

A great place in a great location, staff were great, accommodation very nicely furnished and spacious. There were hairs in the bathroom which we just washed away and sweet wrappers under the bed but hey ho, that didnt deflect from our stay. I think a bit more attention to detail is perhaps called for, lije maybe some weeding on the outside needs doing. However, the food in the pub next door was lovely, the beer was also great. The staff were also all very nice and helpful. I'd definitely stay again and almost certainly will, very soon. 🙂

The area was amazing, the pub food was nice, the entertainment was really good on Sunday

The boiler in the room next to ours was making horrible noises when they used hot water next door we only worked it out after second night and third night there was no on in room next door so they need to sort out the boiler, I found a set of car keys when leaving under the bed so not sure when was last time it was cleaned under there. The shower pipe had dirty black mold on it which was not pleasant and the front door was really hard to lock needs checking

Location, the room and the breakfast/drinks were excellent value for money. Lovely place to use as a base for going out and about.

Nobody greeted us when we were checking in, just a man (not entirely sure who this was as no introduction or interest in who we were)or out (had to give keys to the guy setting up the stage) considering we had not been before it would have been nice for some type of customer service.
