Good location, lovely room, well equiped, with attention to every details. Stunning ocean view from the windows and easy access to the beach.

Check in was horrible and it took us allmost an hour to get our room. Only one lady on the desk, while 20 people are waiting in line.

The penthouse was beautiful with an amazing view of the ocean! The penthouse was well maintained, and the decor was very modern and clean. I loved that there are full length mirrors everywhere in the penthouse as my girls and I always fight for mirrors in other hotels to get ready. The washer and dryer in the penthouse came in handy as we were on the beach a lot, so we were able to wash our dirty/wet beach-wear immediately. Our host Mona was very helpful, kind, and attentive to our needs, and we would definitely rent from her again! There are bike rentals and tour packages you can purchase in the lobby. We loved the tiki bar by the pool!

The valet was hit or miss with the wait. It was anywhere between 2 minutes to 40 minutes wait. I wish they had self parking so we didn't have to waste time waiting for our car. We almost missed an excursion because we waited so long for our car.

The location was OK, it’s in Miami Beach but about 3miles from the action of South Beach. Very few restaurants in walking distance outside of the poorly rated establishments tied to the building. I will say communication with the owner was good.

Check-in took roughly 20min, and was awkward - felt like being checked into a hostel vs a resort. Our family was confused about what we rented - was it a Penthouse, or actually remodeled? The building is old, very musky, and seemed full of low-mid priced AirBnb rooms. The pool has rust at the bottom, trash floating on it, and hot tub is not operational. The room itself was substandard, and I partly blame myself for not doing more research before hand. It smelled like chemicals and mold being masked by Febreeze. The bed situation was interesting — two full size super plush ( air mattress quality) beds, and an IKEA’esq foldout seat. we did appreciate that they kept the room clean, it was the only reason we stayed the 1.5 days vs just checking out early taking a hit on $700 and going to South Beach for a higher standard establishment. They do need to replace the rugs in this unit, they are dirty and cringe to look at. I usually make it a rule never to rent a place that has zero cancelation policy and wants all the money upfront. I would recommend any renters to look closely at the reviews on Google Maps before you stay at Castle Beach. After a magical two weeks spent in the Florida Keys we were very disappointed in this last leg of the trip.

the room was superb! when you rent here, keep in mind that different parts of the building are owned and managed by different companies. so all the negative reviews here are likely mostly pertinent to the other companies. this particular penthouse is a gem!

the staff weren’t very helpful and the whole building overall is old and outdated.
